The tracker says it will be here tomorrow. Been using the same things for so long (G6) that I'm a little too excited about toying with something new. I feel like a kid waiting on Santa!

Oh I know well the joys of waiting for the vapemail. Stalking the postal carrier and waiting to pounce on the mailbox once delivered. Just exercise patience and let your new toys get up to room temp before using. Triton batteries should be fully charged when you get them unlike the G6, so just a little warm up and away you go!!!

So, four days in, and I still like it, but I do have off/on again problems with the tank flooding. I make sure the coil is snug before filling, and I'm not getting any liquid in the center post when I fill, but after a few minutes of vaping I start getting the gurgles, and I end up with a little juice on the battery contact. It happens with mini tanks too, but they're easy to just blow the juice out, wipe off the bottom and screw back in. The Triton tanks don't blow out as easily, and the super deep recess of the the threading is really hard to get a paper towel up into to wipe out. Just wondering if there's anything else I can do to prevent the flooding. It ruins the experience to have to fool with it every few puffs.

Try using q-tips, they work good for me. Are you filling them up to the wicks? I noticed that when I fill them to much I get some flooding but it goes away once the liquid is lower. Some juice might be thin also, making it easier for the wicks to soak up causing it to flood.

I also use a straw cut in half with t.p. To get between the battery post and threads.

Thank you. I've been filling it just past the 2.4 line, thats what the instructions recommended. I'll try filling it just a bit less. And Q-tips, I got those coming out of my ears (pun intended, LOL) I'll stock a few at my vape station.
All in all it performs well, just a pain when it floods.

Hi, Amy
Mine flood every once in a while, too. Make sure the condom on the coil head is all the way down touching the wicks. Sometimes it rides up, and the juice can flow down the center tube.

And here I thought at 45,with dried up eggs and a neutered husband, that I was done with condoms

Anyway, I started up a new tank today, and I've had no problems with it. Maybe I tightened the coil too hard on the first one and messed it up or something. I can always clean it out and try a new coil later.
I'm also starting to wish I hadn't bought so many G6 batteries, because I have barely touched my G6 hardware since the Tritan arrived, and when I do puff on one, it just doesn't compare!

Just wanted to say Hi! Amy87!

The Triton tanks do flood once in awhile but I am in agreement that Q tips work great for that little problem.

I tried a few different bottom coils just to see what they were like and they flood ALOT!

I don't think I will ever be a bottom coil user.

Anyway, so glad you are here and are enjoying your vape experience.

I know mine wouldn't have been half as enjoyable without this wonderful forum.

The folks here have always been right there to help when I needed it and I appreciate them so much.

So Happy to have you!

Cindy
