Hasn't come up yet for me.

It does remind me of getting kicked out of a bar in Colorado for smoking in 1998. At the time I'd never heard of a ban on smoking at bars.

I didn't get beat up or anything, but from the looks I got you'd think I just stabbed the bouncer's grandmother. I had to explain that I was from out of town so they'd let me back inside to find my friends.

It is all how you handle the confrontation. I got out of bouncing since it got way to dangerous, to many crazy tweakers, guns and blades.

Now when people go off on me I just get an unamused vacant look, a raised eyebrow and stare at them. This unhinges them like you would not believe.

Being cool goes farther than you like to believe esp. when booze or emotions get into the mix.

i've never had this problem....

i was at a club/bar that my friends worked at. upscale fancy pants type place. one of the bouncers noticed me with my penstyle in my mouth and followed me into the bathroom. i was standing there pissing and vaping away, pretty drunk at this point, and he pokes inside and says "you can't smoke in here. there's no smoking allowed inside."

i turn, still pissing and vaping, drunk off my ..., saying "it's okay, i'm not smoking."

the bouncer, his expression unchanged, asks "then what is it?"

i look back to my duty of zipping up and mutter "it's just nicotine vapor. no smoke."

he kinda blinks, and then says "okay" and leaves.

no problem sense.

apparently you haven't been around a lot of bouncers before............tell him to get bent. Bouncers have no friends and no future. They are bouncers to feed their ego's. They only hang around people who are bouncers, so they can talk about bouncing and go home late at night a wa,nk off while watching roadhouse.

To me that bouncer, how ever miss informed about an e cigg, did his job properly but mostly in a not so pleasant way. and was just not being to cool about it.. secondly I used to be a bouncer, I had tons of friends, made awsome money, lived 2 miles from the beach in so calif prime residential area, never had an ego, but commanded respect when deserved, even saved the lives of 2 people in my career, then from there became a deputy officer of the court so give credit where it's due.. on the other hand i wished E cigaretts were arround back then lol.
