I've tried just blowing them out and draining them. I've tried running them under tap water, blowing through, and draining. I've tried Crest ProHealth mouthwash soak, rinse, and drain/dry. I've tried high proof vodka soak, rinse, drain/dry.

And I still find most of my atties have a hard draw after only a week to a week and a half of use. Even my cartomizers do! I use different eliquids, some but not all of which have very little color in them. All PG.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Has anyone tried a white vinegar soak?

What type atomizer?

For instance, the 510's have a plastic disc just above the battery connector that has a single hole through which air passes. The heat of the atomizer can melt the plastic around the hole, narrowing it or even closing it. A small drill bit can be safely used to re-open the hole, restoring draw.

I only know about 510's atomizers, not owning any other type.

Yep, chances are you are just not getting any air flow. Remember though that when you clean out the end hole or the side holes that if you stick a needle or anything else in their not to hit the coil. If you break the coil, it's game over. The coil is like the filliment in a light bulb. it's right under the bridge. That's what heats up. You don't even need the bridge or the wick if your a dripper. With about half of my atties I take them out and drip right on the coil. it's cleaner and warmer.
