http://www.post-trib.com/news/davich/1891380,jdavich-1119.articleEach cartridge equals about a pack of cigarettes, giving "smokers" 200 puffs per cartridge.

If only that were true. I wish those mall kiosk sellers would tell the truth and say between 40-60 puffs equaling 3-4 cigarettes. The deceit in their sales pitches is what probably drives many folks back to smoking because at $10 per 5 pack of prefilled cartridges, it is actually cheaper to smoke.

That's what almost drove me back. Had I not done more research, found this forum and purchased a 510, I probably would have started smoking again.

I was also told that it's nothing more than water vapor and actually helps to heal your lungs.

I'm glad that those big companies are out there fighting the FDA but the deception of their sales people doesn't help anything.

And my favorite line?

So, I asked her, has the new e-cigarette helped curb her addiction? Yes and no, she replied.

It's helped her cut down from her traditional cigarettes, but it hasn't necessarily helped her to quit, yet.

We know not everyone can easily quit, even with a good PV. For a smoker using (what we know to be) a lesser quality model to cut down, that says something. And from studies from these same anti-smoking groups that hate the e-cig, every single cigarette you cut down is a marked improvement to your chances.
