Hello, new member here.

What are the major (or minor) differences between DSE 801 and DSE 901? Is one of each a good plan for the wife and I to give vaping a try?

PS to above: I know the 801 is bigger and has more puffs per battery.

The 801 is less cig like and more pen like. It's larger, but it has a longer battery life and cart life then the 901. The 901 is closer to a long cig, but because of the smaller size, does not have the battery or liquid capacity of the 801.
I own both, and use both of them daily. To me, they're both solid option.

Thanks Skad. They both seem good but I was thinking, my wife may be more comfortable using something that looks more with a pseudo-cigarette with the usual color. I like the idea of using MyVaporStore as a vendor but they seem to have only blue, black and silver colors. Can you recommend something?

e-smokeytreats has red and white as well, and he ships pretty quickly. He is a little on the pricey side, but his kits do include a second atomizer.

I keep meaning to get a 901 but somehow never order one. Got an 801 on the way, so I also was curious about the difference.

How long is the battery life on the 801? My 901 is good for about 5 hours.

For me, they last about 2 or so hours longer then my 901.

I've ordered 2 901 kits from Phil (smokeytreats) and i tell you, his customer service it the BEST I have experienced ANYWHERE from ANY store! After a day one of the batteries decided to keep going off by itself for no reason. I e-mailed Phil and he called me, sent me a new battery and I shipped the possessed one back to him. He really went out of his way to help me out and will be getting A LOT more of my buisness and my friends.

Other than that 1 battery, no problems with either kit going on almost 3 weeks.

Thanks again Skad. The wife decided she don't care if it looks like a proper white ciggy so it's looking like we'll get a pair of 801's. The 801 seems the most practical unit.

I also appreciate the referral to e-smokeytreats. He has a good rep but seemed to be short on product when I checked the other night.

My boyfriend and I just got the 901's we like them it seems like the more we vape them the better they work as far as the vapor goes. but they are brand new so we'll see... He also has a 801 he likes that one alot when he wants more vapor he gets much bigger hits on that one. They 801 is much bigger and hard to take out with him because of the size of it. They battery does last alot longer on the 801.

Correct me if I am wrong but I thought the 901 gave a harsher hit because it burns hotter than the 801. The draw seems different to me also with the 801 and prefer the 901 for these reasons. Something to consider anyway.
