Harsh nicotine help

I have 54mg pg nic base stored over a year in freezer, now trying to make a 10ml 18mg nic level
And it comes out were harsh and stings on the tong.
Any suggestion appreciated, how to smooth it?

It would help if you posted your recipe Mr. Fox and how long and if you left it to steep.

Also what would help is the condition of the NIC. Is it clear or is there an amber color to it. Does it smell chemical or smell like solvent etc...

The flavors I use from "Perfumers Apprentice" and its always good. I know it’s the nicotine it’s the only change I made.
The nic is clear not smelly, its from UK. Usually I get fresh, just wanted to free the freezer.

I tried there VG nic and it was good but it was lost year,this one is PG.

What was the PG to VG Ratio of the 10ml's of 18mg you made.

You have to Test things for Taste Before you put them in Long Term Storage. Otherwise there is No Good Way to know if the Storage Made the Taste Bad. Or if it Tasted Bad to Start.
