Harsh Throat hit on new tfv12 coil

I JUST got a new tfv12 and put the quad coil in. I primed it and let it sit for a while. And not even 10 minutes into vaping it, I keep having a harsh throat hit. If I take little toots out of it I won't get the harshness. But long drags (like i like to do) burn my throat. Is it the juice? Is it something I am doing?

I have a new coil ready to go in it just sitting. Just letting it prime at the moment I guess.

This happens to me on every tank I own. Must be something I am doing wrong.

Letting a new / unused head sit in a full tank is not properly priming the head.

Drip drops of liquid on the wicking material down through the top & in the wicking holes in the body of the head until the wicking material is fully saturated.

Always start a new head at reduced power for the first half tank or so to allow it to 'break in' & to ensure it is wicking properly.
