harsh throat hit

iv'e been useing riva 510 ,3.7
when i take a hraw on the pv. i get a very harsh hit at back of my throte, i changed juices, from lower pg and higher % of vg and same thing.harsh hit. doesnt tastes like burnt but the back of my throte burns, any ideas?

If you are allergic to PG, even that reduced amount may cause you problems. Try 100% VG and see if that helps.

Also you could try reducing the nicotine level. All other things being equal: the higher the nicotine level, the greater the TH.

And there are other ingredients in e-liquid besides PG, VG, and nicotine. A lot of China juice includes all kinds of stuff. Even with purer US and UK juices, some flavorings hit the throat harder than others. For example, Atomic Cinnamide will burn more than Vanilla.

BTW, the voltage of fat batts like the Riva is more like 3.4V. Mods and Kr8 batts are the only ones I know, which deliver a true 3.7V.
