Harsh vapor w/SS wick

I set up my ss wick with the petar k method and the vapor production is lowish but the smoke is very very harsh. Ive used the cotton condom method and silica wick and both make better vapor and the smoke wasnt harsh like this. Nothing ive done yet on my aga t2 is even close to the vapor on my vivi nova but im learning so someday it will hopefully be a steam roller. Is there a breakin period with SS wicks, or am i doing something wrong?

Yes, there is a breakin period, usually about 2mls or more. SS mesh is harsher than fabric wicks so you may have to lower your nic level to tolerate it or lower your resistance so you can lower your voltage. I'm assuming that you don't have any hot spots because even the smallest hot spot can cause a harsh vape.
