For me that would be ideal. I carry my phone everywhere and could just recharge the phone as usual...at home or in the car..

Are you talking about making a passthrough that plugs into a phones charging port and then runs off the phone battery? I never thought of that but I assumed that most phones had some kind of controller in it to make the current one way? I dont know what im talking about though. 
Yes, like a USB PassThrough but for a Cell phone ....I would just run a wire from my cell to the cartomizer and BINGO one battery to run both.
I thought the same thing for my iPhone the car charger has another USB charge port when my stuff gets here I will check it out

What is the mah capacity of your iphone battery?
I guess if you got in a tough situation you would have to choose between calling 911 or vaping. If you called 911 first, no way you would have enough battery to vape until they got there.
It would probably be better to access the internet, log into ECF, ask for help, then vape.

An app????...I would think you'd need some type of cord...I don't know.

An app would be much safer than trying to draw that much current from your iphone.

The phone battery, sure if might be 1000mah, but the circuitry probably won't support close to 2 amps without being overloaded. Maybe, maybe not. Pretty expensive way to find out. and they have fixed the exploding ipod/iphone problem, I think.

There are several add on battery packs for the iphone at less than that.
Imagine having an extra 2000mah on the back of your iphone.
