I'm wondering if anyone has ever built a mod out of a butane torch lighter.
This is a Tiger brand torch lighter off of ebay. I have one similar but is a Lenk brand and I can't seem to figure out how to get it apart. It looks like it could be a great looking mod.
Specs say that it's 1.5" x 3.25".

Oh, BTW.... it's all metal.

it would look cool, but i am still tempted to make the BIC lighter mod. i still carry around a lighter most of the time out of habit and really do need some kind of lighter mod.

I was looking at a zippo to mod. It would have to take a very small battery. Perhaps a 10280. Two in parallel.

There are butane vaporizers out there. Are you talking about just adding an atomizer to run on butane or gutting it and making it electric?

I hadn't thought about butane. That could be very intruiguing. Is that even possible? Initially I was wondering how to treat it like a tube mod. Gut it and making it electric using the button for the switch etc. Sometimes the difficulty is knowing how to get the thing apart so not to damage the housing.

As professionally-finished off-the-shelf battery hosts, they sure look cool, even the flat ones look like they'd hold a Li-Po real easy

but after spending seeming days shopping for them and making a flashlight mod, i think what's going to satisfy is planning out something i make, this endless shopping for bits and pieces that may or may not fit is maddening,

(make it stop)
