So I was in dire need of getting a new pv, due to me losing my other one that I had....So I was browsing around different companies and comparing prices for a Joye Ego. I stumbled upon a company called Greenhouseone.com. It has AMAZING prices due to them shipping from China. I know now I should always use a local company, or at least one in the US. I was just on a tight budget and I couldn't resist. That was the WORST decision I ever made. I ordered on 1/29/11 with normal Registered Airmail. I wasnt aware that this was during the Chinese New Year. So it supposably was shipped on 2/8. It is now 2/23/11 and still no package. It took FOREVER to be able to track it for one thing, then finally I was able to track it and it was moving along just fine until 2/18/11. Its been at the same location (February 18, 2011, 1:15 pm, GUANGZHOU, CHINA PEOPLES REP) since then. I have tried contacting Tim (Owner of company) via email. He reponded to the first one regarding not being able to track, thats when he informed me of the New Years thing. Now I emailed him again due to me not being able to track until 2/14. Then finally this last email I just sent today asking whats going on and why its been at the same location for 5days.....I've ordered from China before with Registered Airmail and have only had to wait 2 weeks AT THE MOST for packages. I don't know. Really all I want to know is, has anyone ever ordered from this company and how has your experience been? So far I've had a horrible time....I NEED a pv!!!! :(

I do a lot of importing from China at my job and the air shipments are ALWAYS delayed, coupled with the fact that the Chinese go on holiday at least 3 times a month makes for a looooong wait. Sometimes my sea shipments get here before the air!!! About half of my imports come from Guangzhou as well. Don't mean to be a downer, but that's the risk we take. Hopefully it clears customs okay!!!

I used to order a lot from China because there was a big price saving. Now that a lot of domestic companies are offering great deals, waiting three weeks or paying crazy rates for EMS shipping just doesn't make a lot of sense. Don't be too worried about it still showing that your shipment is in GUANGZHOU, you may have your package at your door before that status gets updated. 20 days or so from shipment is usually when I get regular airmail packages.

Usually people who order from China will order a lot of stuff that they don't need right away (like 20 atomizers and 10 batteries, a couple spare chargers, 20 boxes of cartomizers -- usually not many order e-liquid as customs will have a heyday). It's a great way to stock up for not a lot of money, but not so great if you are shopping for your first e-cig (or first good e-cig) or for stuff that you need because you are about to run out soon.

Quite often you can get your shipment from China in a week and sometimes even less, but it's unpredictable. And it's never a good idea to order anywhere near chinese new year (now you know for next year) :)

I ordered on 1/31. I saw on the web page that there was a holiday in china and it would ship on 2/08. I was worried too..but I got mine today and it was packaged very well and all is good. I hope yours will come to you soon. It took about 4 days after it was in PORTEE, and then it just came..didn't get any more tracking. I am also glad I was home because I had to sign for it. Hope you get yours soon!

Using the cheap air mail is your problem. I have ordered about 25 times from 3 or 4 suppliers in China but have paid the extra $8 for EMS shipping. I have gotten packages in as little as 4 days and never longer than 9 days. You pretty much get what you pay for with the cheap air mail shipping. Nothing you can do about their holidays, however.

If you PM your mailing address, I can send you a blu battery, a cartomizer and a usb charger to use til you get it sorted out. Not the best equipment but with the new cartomizers, you do get some nice vapor. All I ask is you pay it forward to some other desperate soul when you are finished with it.

Peace,
cleo

I don't recommend ordering PV stuff from China. The FDA and customs have both screwed with people's stuff. One guy finally got his stuff only to find every inner box empty. it is not worth the hassle.

Out of 25 orders, I have never lost one. And many times I get my orders in 4 days and never longer than 9 days. And even with the extra shipping cost I save money. Plus, they have a 6 month warranty on atomizers and don't even make me send the old ones back. With the replacement of the worn out ones, attys cost me $2 each and that is with shipping.

So how much do you pay for atomizers with shipping?

I've bought quite a few things from China off ebay. I live in Australia, and it can take up to 6 weeks for small packages to arrive from China. I don't even start to wonder where it is until I get to 4 weeks after shipping advice.
Like the others say, definitely if you have plenty of time, not if you are in a hurry.
