One of my 186500 batteries just shot its load and I need to buy a new one. I want to use Amazon because I have prime so the shipping would be free. I purchased two batteries from a vape store in the past, but they stopped working after a couple days so I'll be avoiding that from now on. Thanks in advance for any recs.

Personally, I would never buy 18650 batteries (or any vape battery) via Amazon. You have no way of knowing if you are buying a fake or not (as in, Very Risky).

Just about everyone I know on ECF buys batteries from the Reputable Sellers Mooch has listed at the bottom of his Blog Index page.

Good luck

Sometimes it is a Good Idea to sit back and Ask Yourself exactly How Much am I Saving by Buying something like Batteries on Amazon?

3 Bucks?
The Price of a Bag of Fries off the Value Meal Menu?
6 Months worth of Sofa Change?

I'm all for ways to Save Money. Buying Batteries on Amazon just Isn't One of them

FWIW…

The 18650 Battery Store currently has the EVE 25P 30A 2500 mAh 18650 on sale for $2.50 each.

Even with shipping your total cost will be significantly less than anything I see listed at Amazon.

Mooch also tested that battery...

    Have you priced face transplants?

If you want free shipping, 18650batterystore.com (one of Mooch-trusted sources) has free shipping for orders $50+. That's roughly 5-8 decent OEM batteries, depending on your preferences/needs.

Must be my account. I keep getting :
"There are no threads in this forum."
"The requested page could not be found"

Oops! We ran into some problems.

It's not you or your account. I also saw that with a blog page. At the time I thought it was a fluke, or me. It has something to do with the recent upgrade.

I'll report it. Hopefully the mods will get it fixed soon.

Here are the reputable battery sellers from Mooch's index page.

    18650.uk
    18650batterystore.com
    akkuteile.de
    ecoluxshopdirect.co.uk
    fogstar.co.uk
    illumn.com
    imrbatteries.com
    liionwholesale.com
    orbtronic.com

I've used 18650 Battery Store, Illumn, IMR Batteries and Liion Wholesale.
