Just wondering if anyone has received their kit yet. Did they send you an e-mail to let you know it had been shipped? I keep checking my account with Puresmoker and it does not show anything.

I'm starting to get tired of using both thumbs to hold my button down hard enough to make it work! And I love 5v too much to use my old stuff!! ;)

In a post yesterday casey said they are waiting for one part before they can ship. This will probably not show on your puresmoker account.More than likely it will be a"hey it's here" at the mailbox moment.Till then have you tried turning your contact posts round side up.This made all the difference with mine.I still get the occasional blip where a turn of the button usually gets it going again. If you have any more questions about these procedures see the troubleshooting thread on the main puresmoker page.

So far, V2's have gone out. V1's are heading out today. If you've got a V2,V1 and Protege (or any combo of Prod and Protege), we're waiting for the Protege stuff to come in so it can all ship together.

Got my new V2 today, it appears to already have the new o-ring and contact posts installed, and it also came with another o-ring and set of contacts. Still getting accustomed to the new V2, but it's working great! Was having a few misfires at first, but after reading Casey's V2 troubleshooting guide, it works flawless. The biggest change was using the middle of the thumb to press the button.

Got mine in the mail yesterday. I thought the envelope was empty at first! I guess I was expecting a new switch housing, for some odd reason.

I had bought the #60 O-ring, which was a LOT thicker than the new O-ring PS sent me. After careful consideration, I decided to go with the new O-ring PS included in the upgrade kit. I'm having trouble putting into words WHY i decided the PS O-ring feels better, though. Because it's thinner, there's 'more button to press' (if that makes sense) and it feels like there's less chance of it going off in my pocket.

Now, for the stainless steel contact posts.......those simply KICK ...!! I would recommend ANYONE with a V1 or V2.0 to get the upgrade kit for these, even if the kit WASN'T free! With the aluminum posts, I always felt like I had to take a primer puff or two.....but after switching to the stainless posts, and using the same atomizer and the same batteries (no recharge) it feels like the INSTANT you activate the switch, you are at FULL VAPING CAPACITY, every time!!!!

I LOVE IT!!!!!!

Haha. Mine worked better with the old parts in the switch. I have to rock the switch back and forth to get it to fire now.

Got mine this week too and I'm not having much luck with it at all. I had sent my device in before the announcement so they returned with the upgrade switch installed. Wouldn't work on first try. Took the adaptor off and took the switch out...didn't do anything else but look at it and put it back in, but it made the V2 work for a few seconds. Then dead again. I've tried every set of batteries I have for it as well as several attys. I give UP!!!
