So far, V2's have gone out. V1's are heading out today. If you've got a V2,V1 and Protege (or any combo of Prod and Protege), we're waiting for the Protege stuff to come in so it can all ship together.

I've got 2-V1's, V2 and Protege. So will get them all at once then.;)

All my PS mods will be happy!

So, for the record, my switch is only marginally better now. It still refuses to fire a fair amount of the time. Initially it seemed to be a matter of breaking in the O-ring. But now the issue is the metal disc. It seems to collect corrosion and deposit it on the contacts, just like it did on the last version. I'm having to open it up and wipe off the contacts two or three times a day in order to keep it functioning correctly.

I'm on the verge of going back to the V1. I never had a single problem with it.

I took the new o-ring off and put the rubber band back on and it helped a lot but it's still not great. Like I said before,I think the old parts worked better. I keep having to take the switch apart and clean the contacts and metal disc off. The disc looks like it keeps getting corroded and the contacts keep getting some kind of discoloration on them. I took it apart 3 times today to clean it all so it would fire halfway decent. This is getting pretty aggravating to say the least.

My experience exactly. I'd say that the switch sucks, upgrade kit or no upgrade kit.

My kit came yesterday and the new parts have solved my problem. I was having a hard time with the switch, I had to push it REALLY hard to get any kind of connection and now it is quite easy and fires every time.

I saw the previous posts about deposits on the stainless steel contacts, so I took mine apart and it did have a little on there already. I have some No-lax or Ox-gard (can't remember which) at home and will try cleaning with that at night. Not too much trouble. I think any mod is going to require a little bit of up-keep.
