Has Anyone Heard From Steve????

New customers have every right to be frustrated--but most people here have a history with Steve, and up until 1) the big move 2) the juice issues 3) the Hong Kong ban, he really did earn that first-rate reputation...

He was one of the pioneers of the 9.95 atomizer (when he first announced he'd be selling them for that price, the immediate reaction was "what's the catch!?") but there was none, he was the first US seller that wasn't jacking the prices up to abnormal amounts. Until Steve, we were paying 40 bucks for those things.

Plus he had a practice of shipping HOURS after you placed your order. (I used to order at 8:30pm EST, knowing he was 3 hours behind--I'd get the stuff 'cross-country in 1-2 days!)

I've talked to him enough (before the move) to know he REALLY IS a first-rate guy. He's probably so blindsided with issues right now...

I don't blame first-time buyers for being fed up, but I can also understand why the old-timers are willing to hang in there...

At the very least - he could have an autoreply that says something like -
'I have received your inquiry and I WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU, just be patient, we are very busy etc.' I emailed while he was in transit to Tn.
I gave him the benefit of the doubt. I even told him I didn't want to make things difficult while he had so much on his plate. How about he just replies with a 'Thanks' so that I know he is still in the USA?

I checked and my order status now shows as shipped. No confirmation e-mail but at least there appears to be progress on my order. I should have my order by the middle of the week.

I for one am not frustrated so much at the long shipping time but more so at the lack of communication. I'm guessing that the large move and and high volume of orders has Steve pretty busy but, it would have helped to get a response to let me know how long it would take to ship my order out. I would have added another Pilot and carts to my order.

I'm starting to think something is wrong. Not communicating is not normal for Steve.
The fact that he hasn't even checked in here is worrisome.

At this point, I'm just gonna send up prayers and hope that the PureSmoker crew are all ok.
I was thinking the same thing. Hope everything is alright with them.:(

Cashmere has posted 4k times in the past 10 months averaging 14 posts per day. His last post was 3/26 at 5pm. Something is going on here, What? I don't know and am not going to speculate. But all inquiry's of concern could be handled by 1 quick post by him. Why this hasn't been done is the million dollar question.

You said a mouth full there Olddaddy!! From his reputation, we would understand just about anything he has going on, just so long as he keeps his (money train) "US here at the forums informed". I'm sure he has a good excuse, but the way he is handling it now is not good for business.

Just my 2 cents.

Oh cmon - I have been emailing him for 4 weeks now. I have emailed him on his site.
I have PM'd him. NOTHING. I am talking about defective hardware I received on February 22nd. He replaced with more defective hardware. Then I was foolish enough to order again on March 20th. I received that order in a timely fashion, but one of my items was a baba bing, - WORKED GREAT FOR ONE WHOLE DAY! - didn't even get a freakin auto reply from him. He can post here if he is having a problem. This is the PURESMOKER SUB FORUM! All I want him to say is that he is going to take care of it and honor the warranty from February. Why do I have to chase after him? He is the one holding my money.

Give Steve a little time to get back into the swing of things. Everyone knows how hard it is when you move and then have to reorganize. Steve just moved clear across the country and I am sure he is trying to get caught up on all the orders and get everything running smoothly again. It may take a little while but he will be back on top of things soon I'm sure.
 
Okay Obviously he's busy, obviously he's overwhelmed, obviously he got way over his head, THAT'S NOT MY FAULT!!!!! I am ...... because at this point to date it's 2 PM'S 3-Emails to info at pure 2 e-mails to Steve at Pure 3 phone calls to personal cell phone his sprint PCS. And I have not heard anything yet. I will say I did receive my order well the one that I was double charged for so hey maybe if I received two of them that would be another story but nope just one and still no money back, not even a courtesy e-mail that they would look into it. So I did start a dispute with PayPal I tried to just do this with Steve after hearing so many good things about him I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt but it's my money I'm losing he's obviously gained quiet a bit of this re opening. And yes I like my E cig but I hate this whole process and the way I've been ignored. So hats off Steve congrats on the reopening unfortunately it was a little more than you guys could handle and should have predicted that guess not though. Please if you read this contact me... wait why even ask anymore.

I ordered 50 carts on the 21st and have gotten only a confirmation email. It's my first order with PS, but I'm not worried. My gut feeling is that they're overwhelmed, just moved, and HUMAN. As in, a couple of people trying their best to provide a great product at a reasonable cost. I'm much more inclined to buy their products than to give my money to the big tobacco companies, in any case.
