Has anyone quit e cig and gone back after a while?

I am asking because I recently (~5 weeks) quit both real cigs and vaping without lowering my intake. Just all of a sudden I said to my self no more, but now I get angry very easily :/

So has anyone quit and come back to vaping? Why? How long did you last?

I quit vaping for a little while. It was about 3 weeks for me. But I came back because I had the itch to cloud again and I figured if I don't use high nic I'll be fine and I have been every since j started again

Oh ya. Unfortunately its not the nicotine that hooks us. Its all the other crap. I'd like to kick someone from BT square in the giblets. I smoked 5 a day whether I needed them or not for a while. Just to keep my mood level and let my body adjust to the change.

Actually I just double checked and it's been 8 full weeks since I quit. The biggest concern I got is the anger... I don't know if it's directly related to me quiting all of a sudden or is just a made up thing by my mind.

Landin1102, how was your anger in those 3 weeks?

When I got my first starter kit I only managed to quit smoking for a few weeks, and started smoking again. Years later I decided to give it another try with a new setup and a bunch of new liquids, and everything was much better! I've been off cigarettes for 10 months now.

I quit smoking and switched to vaping on cig-a-likes.


That worked for about a year and a half maybe, but then I decided to quit with the plan of not doing anything and I threw away all my gear.


Then I fell back into smoking again.


Luckily, the first B&M I knew about was opening up in my area so about two weeks after I bought a CE5/EGO starter kit and haven’t looked back since.

It was so bad. I was super crabby and irratable.

I vaped from 2009-2011 and simply fell off the wagon. And during the time I vaped I still smoked two cigs a day. I started back up this past November and with the newfangled gear I've been cigarette free since then. I'd be extremely surprised and disgusted if I went back to cigs again, but I'm 99.99% sure I never will.

The other night I went out and for whatever reason, I smoked one real cig, but I hated the aftertaste and I didn't have a chewing gum! I think I'll be fine and not go back to smoking. I only have to find something to calm my anger
