On accident, I ripped the 510 connector off and flung the battery across the room....wires broke , and didn't have soldering capability.

Pretty tight clearances inside, i would avoid disassembling these things, they are not meant to be rebuild-able or repairable.

You were able to reassemble it though? Did you have it down to the bare tube?

If you attach an old atty or carto to the end you can wiggle the connector off in a couple of minutes. To get more leverage insert a dowel in the tube of the atty. I seem to remember that these are just press fit on, without any glue even. Once off, you can slide out the innards, do whatever and put it back together with a reverse process. A larger vise wiggle make reassembly easier.

Are you talking about a regular eGo or an eGo twist? The regular kind aren't that difficult as long as you have moderate soldering skills. Also, when you take the top atomizer portion off, be careful not to break the wire going to the positive center pin. If that snaps down where its solder connection is, the difficulty of resoldering it goes up considerably.

I tried disassembling an Ego Twist once. I could get the connection but loose, so I tried cut away the metal covering it. But the battery started smoking, given the hot metal. It scared the .... out of me, as I was running across my house to the closeest door holding this mini-bomb trying to throw it outside lol.

All is good, but it did "explode." Careful :X.
