I read on here to not put the silicone cap on all the way tight- leave a small gap on top. Not sure if this helps but I do this.
I only use Halo liquids as they are made for use in the Triton. {Love the flavors, too!}
I avoid any dry wicks or burned taste this way: When the tank is full to about 3/4 full, I leave my Triton vertical when not being used. When it is 3/4 to 1/4 full, I lay it on it's side. When it is below 1/4 full to empty, I actually tilt it slightly with the tip "downhill" so the remaining juice gets to the coil. I can get it to the point that there is practically zero juice in the tank without any dry hits or burned taste. It makes sense to me with the top coil design {which produces the warm vapor that I prefer!}
After about three or four tanks of juice, I rinse out the wicks/coil in HOT tap water and get the "toasted" part of the wick clean and put all the parts in an ultrasonic cleaner filled with distilled water. About ten minutes worth of cleaning.
It has been almost twelve weeks and I have not ruined ANY coils so far. Only one wick got too frayed to re-use so far. Most importantly, it has been almost THREE MONTHS without a single cigarette after smoking for 25 YEARS. Thanks, Halo!
