Hello all and first off great forum here looks like a great group of people here so I figured I would ask a couple questions and hopefully someone would be able to provide me with the answers I need.

First off, I am looking for a mini ecig that will produce decent vapor as well as I will be able to use a PCC with, I would like for it to have decent battery time and also have a manual battery so that I can take advantage of dripping with the many different flavors available online. So if anyone has any suggestions on what I should purchase and where I should purchase from it would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry if my terminology is a little off but this will be my first time purchasing an ecig and just figured I ask some questions before buying. A friend of mine just recently purchased a blu ecig and is awaiting its arrival but based on the many reviews online Im guessing that would not be a good option.

thanks and look forward to your replies and hope everyone has a great week!!

Most folks recommend the 510 with new users, think they also have the pass though
with that model. I might be more inclined to start with an ego or tornado because the longer battery life with it. I had a couple of N510 Titans and the 510s are great, but you want to soon move on to something with more power. If you want a 510, cignot has them pretty cheap. Also get a couple of extra atomizers with the 510, some sample size nicjuices and maybe at least one extra battery. Welcome to the forum hangin1

Others will be in here soon with some model suggestions, it's a great place that way.

I'm just going to mention size & physics. The smaller the battery, the less power it will have. Power density has improved much in the last 20 years, but it is still true that smaller batteries have less power. So the smaller the unit, the less time a battery will last.

thanks for the responses, I have looked at the cignot website and it seems that the joye510 is currently out of stock so I might just have to wait for that to become available again. I currently smoke marlboro menthol analogs about a pack a day if that helps anyone with recommending a choice for me. Bekinder you mentioned a tornado as an option is there currently a PCC available for a tornado or ego? I guess my major concern is I dont want to be out on the town and have my batteries die on me if I am craving a cigarette because that will only further lead to me having another analog. thanks again for the replies thus far and look forward to hearing from other members of the forum. Hope you all have a great week.

There's no PCC available for the Tornado or eGo because when you can get 6-7 hours heavy vaping from one battery, (and you get two batts per kit) you really don't need one. If you get the Tornado kit with the quick charger you should be good to go.

Later if you want to experience a good inexpensive mod that will get you 8-10 hours of battery life, and hours of peak voltage (more vapor), pick up a Bartleby for $50 with a 510 connector:

You'll already have the atomizers and cartridges so you would only need the charging cable and a usb wall and car plug.

A lot of vendors are out of product now due to the Chineese new year, it will probably be a week or 2 before everyone is stocked up. I would recommend the 510 also. I started with a 901 and it was good enough to stop me from smoking analogs. Here's a 901 starter kit at a great price with manual batteries, so you can drip and free shipping that is fast.

Honest and great customer service.

Thanks garyd for the link to the website for the 901 but since everyone is recommending the 510 I will probably just wait until I can find one available, I also noticed alot of talk about the chuck and seen a few youtube videos on them they look pretty nice as well. Is there anywhere to purchase a chuck besides the thagbuilt.com website just wondered?

I did have another question that someone here should be able to explain to me.

What exactly is a cartomizer? I am guessing that it is basically a cartridge prefilled with whatever flavor you are wanting to smoke thus allowing for less mess because you wouldnt have to use the liquid and drip it onto the atomizer but figured I would get a qualified answer to clarify or tell me the correct answer here. thanks again for all the help I am super excited about purchasing my first ecig just wanna make sure I get something I will like.

Most PVs are 3-piece -- the battery, the atomizer and the mouthpiece. You remove the cartridge/mouthpiece to add liquid to it (or drip directly into the atomizer.)

PVs with cartomizers are 2-piece because the atomizer and cartridge are one. They can hold a lot more liquid than the others can and can be refilled several times before being discarded.
