I was like that in the beginning. Trying everything from cigalikes to Egos to mods. Not to mention clearo's, tanks, drippers etc. Always in search of the perfect setup. For me it was a Reo! Been using those exclusively for about a year now. I still like to try different rda's occasionally, but my mod shopping days are over. Sometimes I think, wow! I wasted a lot of money! But I went through what I did, to find what I love. And it was a fun search

within 2 months (when I first started vaping) I had already bought 6 rbas a dna 30 and 3 other mods.... only about $250 into vaping and I have saved way more than that by not smoking. It is tough to keep from just buying everything out there, just put $20 a side per week and treat your self to a new mod now and again!

I am so doing that... Love the Idea

Lol. Is that really your collection or a random Vape porn pic ? That's a lot of stuff

Random pic. Not mine. In fact I've been using the same 30W box mod for a year now. Don't use anything else. Got about a half dozen different types of tanks but only use the Nautilus and Squape R (My new favorite) anymore.

But I know a LOT of people who suffer from Shinyitis. The irresistible attraction to anything shiny and new....

... in my mind I am screaming YES!!! I want ohh wow do I sooo want..

lol, the shiny-itis is strong with this one :D

Been vaping over four years here and I still drool over new toys. I don't buy nearly as many as I did early on, but I do still ogle and ooh and ahh when I see stuff I haven't tried yet. I guess I just have that kind of personality . . . I'm still waiting for an official support group for GAS (Gear Aquisition Syndrome) addicts so I can join up ;)

I am just about over week 2 right?

Ok Vaping on my MVP 2. No big deal. Getting good vapage. Watching some YouTube checking some other products out. Mostly interested in what everyone says about flavors and such for simple things, I might be able to get and review myself on my channel. come across some dripper tanks and some other mini tanks... I am starting to see Deeper more larger vapers and my mouth grins and my foot begins to bounce... in my mind I am screaming YES!!! I want ohh wow do I sooo want..

Ithe tank styles, the amount of vaping, so thick so pure, looks like clouds like heaven spewing out of the mouth. (No Not being dirty in any way shape and or form) But I look at my mod and I am like you are good but they are so much better.... have not gotten this way since last time I had the cash to build up my computer systems and a new graphics card came out that can think for itself came out (Still has not happened but would be flipping cool)

Then I look at my account and ya...Equipment, accessories I want ya... taking 1/2 of the money I use to spend on tobacco and going to put it to Vapeing...

So anything like that happened to you all During your first time?

Hi Tera
I started vaping a little under 2 month ago, & started with the E-leaf iStick 50w mod. Worked GREAT.... When it DID work!! First one crapped out after ( & I am not making this up..) 2 hits!! I took it to my local vape store & they swapped it out no questions asked. Second one lasted about a week and a half...grrrrr...
When i took the second one back, they recomended the MVP 2. FINALLY.... A solid mod!! A bit under the industy standard as far as watt/volt, but a great mod to start with. It will take a beating and keep on chucking.
Now, like you, i have been bit by the vaping bug. All i can think of is upgrade upgrade, UPGRADE!! I already know that i am about to start and maintain vaping as a collector and as a hobby. I cant wait to get a 50 watt+ and my first RDA and start building! So, to answer you question... YES!! It happended to me.
Go in peace, friend.

I went a little nuts when I started vaping. I wanted to try EVERYTHING. It got better with time.

I really was at a point where if I saw a review or a video on something, I was on the Internet looking to buy one within a few minutes (compulsive much?).

Now, I pretty much know what I like, and look for things that suit my style of vaping. I still purchase new stuff, but the impulse purchases are few and far between, and I do a lot more internal debate before pulling out the plastic.

For me, now, it's not about finding some Holy Grail of vaping. I am VERY happy with what I vape on. It's more about exploring different designs and technologies.

It's not only understandable, but normal! It's good to wet your feet a bit with a starter kit, and naturally you'll get used to it and want to upgrade. What I think was important for me was to understand what each upgrade meant and how it affected my vaping. I just bought an Aspire Sub Ohm Battery and Atlantis V2 tank, and it's going to last me quite awhile. The next logical step is dripping, but for now I want to truly enjoy all my current setup has to offer!

What I've noticed, is to not get sucked into the next big hype, they always put out something better or a version 2 right behind it, or a better copy, that's twice as good and half the price. If I could get back all the money I wasted buying the newest mod/atty, instead of just buying a few solid setups, I would. Enjoy your MVP, that little box is tough as nails, and is a solid performer. I miss mine

I spent quite a bit of money on the first year my wife and I vaped. I was looking for a good setup that was reliable and found my wife's happiness with a provari, but I had to have all kinds of shiny tubes looking for my happiness. Used the clearos, t3's then protanks and stuck with those protanks for almost 18 months, rebuilding them and having a great vape experience with them. I have since graduated to kayfuns and russians while my wife likes the simplicity of the protank. Now that I'm DIY'n I'm spending again to get setup but enjoying the bounty of my own juices. My wife has rolled her eyes at my vapemail so many times that she has stopped and just shakes her head. If you look at the big picture of how many thousands and thousands of dollars saved by not smoking vs the fraction of that spent on vape gear. Once you find what makes you happy, you'll slow down the spending until you see that MUST HAVE gear then spend some more. :)

Same for PCs ever since my first one, bought in 1989. I just try to stay current enough to be able to get the security updates;

I kept my computer I built in 2000 for years and years; then I decided to upgrade from WinXP to Win7 through Vista. The Vista installation actually indicated my hardware was too old to upgrade! (BIOS issue) Sometimes antique BIOSes can't be upgraded, though I tried; I tried. Then I got a new motherboard and everything was ok. Whew.

I'm starting with a Kanger EVOD Mega. I skipped my first thoughts: a Vuse -- no not Bittorrent -- ecig or a Halo starter kit. Both seemed too limited.

Now I see these mods and tanks and think, they would be nice too. Moreover, the people who review vape stuff on youtube seem to have spent thousands; to try another flavor, they don't change tanks, they grab another setup.

just a month and half of vaping for me. So yeah.. i hear ya.. i feel ya..

Now i own 2 nautilus tanks, 2 sub ohm tanks and 1 dripper with a eleaf 50w battery.

the 1000 mah battery and those cheap tanks that i bought at first, those i stopped using after the first week, it didn't cut it for me. In the weeks after i bought the stuff i mentioned above. I take my addiction seriously :p
Now i think i'm satisfied, there is nothing else that drastically can improve the vape. So now it's just practicing my builds and finding an awesome juice :)

HAHAHA I know exactly what you mean, started with a cheap ecig, moved to my eleaf 50w and then all of the sudden, almost like {OTHER STUFF}, I had a shiny attack! its only been three weeks and I already am getting my eyes on a dripper, have two atlantis tanks and the new mega, as well as a Kanger, with my eyes on a Sigelei Mod... Its like fiending for pure awesomness.

That's what I keep trying to communicate to my mom, RE: her 2001 PC, with BIOS dated about 1998; she's like, well can't it be upgraded??? I just shake my head and try to tell her about ROM-BIOS and firmware, but it just goes in one ear and out the other as her eyes glaze over. I think I may have finally gotten thru to her, that accessing her bank acct via that ancient PC is a GREAT way to get hacked and lose EVERYTHING. She's not very mobile anymore, just going into her "office" to get on the computer is a big chore for someone in a wheelchair, so she's authorized me to try to find her a laptop she can afford -- but she's still still thinking in terms of 2000 prices -- for the figure she named as not wanting to go higher, I can find her a FANTASTIC PC. :D
