So I have it down with atomizer and clearomizer and some of the options there. My questions come in to more of the options with doing drip tips, rebuilding and mechanical mods. Someone locally showed me his drip tip and the clouds he made with it which of course made me a bit envious. I am still a bit lost with all of the options in that area and best place to start experimenting with it. I should add that while I can still learn new things and have learned a lot about vaping in my short experience that what would have been easy to figure out on my own in the past is not so easy these days due to cognitive problems. I have a progressive, untreatable brain disease that makes things much more of a challenge than they used to be. Taught myself most of what I know about computers and building my own PC's in the past but things just don't come easy now days so I need advice from those that know their stuff. Any and all help is GREATLY appreciated. I also have thought about doing some DIY juice and would like to try that but will wait a bit before taking that on. I like the idea of controlling exactly what goes in to it however. I buy from a trusted local source but obviously it would be far cheaper and perhaps higher quality to just make my own. I am a little frustrated that my wife and I got so used to the flavor of what we buy that is supposed to be a camel type tobacco flavor but actually is probably sweeter than other tobacco flavors I have tasted from another shop, yet we now didn't care for the taste of the more authentic tobacco flavors. That might be a good thing, not sure, but wonder how easy it is to adjust to new flavors since we seem to be so hooked on the flavor of what we have been using. Thanks for any input! :vapor:

I'm not sure what you are asking but I can tell you that the drip tip has nothing to do with the amount of vapor you get. That depends on your coil setup and the juice and ratio you are vaping. A rebuildable atomizer will help in that area. You can build a coil/wick setup to your liking.

As for switching flavors...why switch if you like what you are vaping? Switching flavors is a matter of taste. If it tastes good to you than there is no problem switching or going back and forth between several flavors.

Sorry to hear about your disease.

Hi jaball and welcome to ECF.

Drip tips are just mouthpieces and like thmcase said, they have nothing to do with vape quality. If you mean rebuildable atomizers, they are not generally recommended for new vapers. If you have quality clearomizers that you like, stay with them for a while until you gain a bit more experience with how they work. If you want more in-depth information of the subject of RBAs, visit our RBA subforum or/and ask your friends who use them for guidance. That said, to me at least, vaping is not about chasing clouds--it's about finding a healthier way to get some nicotine into my system, and I'm perfectly happy with stock coils. :)

We have a DIY subforum and the guys and gals there are very helpful. But again, if you've found an eliquid that both you and your wife are enjoying, I say stick with it. There is no such thing as "authentic tobacco flavor" in an eliquid. Just vape what you like.

Good luck and happy vaping!
