Have to admit a dumb thing

I bought about 10 manual 901 batteries from eastmall a few months ago. They all are working great. BUT I lost the little black button cover thingie for every single one of them. Anyone know where to find these?

It was usually in the process of taking out of my pocket or purse, at night in a parking lot(prolly wal mart). Someone help!!! please, lol
I did write to east mall, I'm sure they'll give me a suggestion, but shipping is high and I didn't plan on another order until after the first of the year.

In the same boat for a manual 401. It'd be nice if there was a rubber button replacement. The battery works fine, it's just that the button is missing.

$10 dollar battery kaput for a penny part!

Clean your purse. I mean empty it. I always find lost things in there.

After you've done all the above,-- get your vacumn cleaner, take the bag out. Put in a fresh bag. Vacum your floors. Take the fresh bag out and cut it open.

Might be one or two there.

I wouldn't say 'common' but you see more reports of this on the 901 and 801 plus their manual passthrough counterparts, and the M series than you do on the 510 that has been manual for a longer period of time.

I think the one's that lose buttons are all retrofits from autos. But that's just a guess from the time they began making the other models into manuals and the reports that started showing up.

Pretty sure you have a 510 so I wouldn't worry about it.

This sounds really weird, especially since it happened to all of your batteries. I couldn't find anything sadly, but I can't imagine it being too hard to make yourself. The only problem there is getting the right kind of rubber and the tools...

Pretty sure you have a 510 so I wouldn't worry about it.

Haha, I was starting to get worried about this happening to me. (510 PCC only lets you orient the battery 1 way - perfect for removing cheap buttons)

Actually, Arno at eCigarettes and eLiquid from Awesome Vapor sent me extra buttons with my last manual batt purchase from him. He does not advertise them for sale but I have uncovered his stash........email him. He will sell you some....

Yeah, I'd go with emptying your purse. Christ, my girlfriends purse is maintaining its own ecosystem in it. Who know what would happen if I were to stick a hand in it.

you could always check over at radio shack...they sell alot of small switches and buttons...one of them might have a little rubber button cover...might even have them separate too...
