vaping for many has not just replaced smoking for health reasons, it has become a hobby, a way of life or the search for the "Holy Grail" Going thru all these threads, especially the one "Pictures of your setup" you can see amazing setups and vast collections of 1000's of dollars worth of gear.

Many dont start out with collections in mind, it just happens. Be it the quest for a better device for your type of vaping. Maybe the most beautiful, or rare, etc. Has anyone finally found that "perfect" device combination. That one PV and atomizer combination or Hybrid that is just so perfect that you say to yourself, I think I can stop now? And even if you dont stop, is there one that you end up using that feels the best in your hand and performs and tastes so good you end up putting the rest of the beauties in a display case.

Might be fun to see what your workhorse or perfect set up is and why.

I dont know, but Im a bit of a creature of habit. WHen I find something that works and looks good. WHen it is easy to set up and feels good to use and you get that " ahhhhhhhhh, feeling and you sort of melt" I think I have found it.

But it is hard when your "eyes" start to wander , especially when you see photos of such amazing set ups, that are not just functional but just so beautifully made. I guess if I had the funds , Id get more things just to see how they compare, but for now, im at that point that the few times I try something new, it may be pretty , but just doesnt taste or perform like how Im used to.

I finally found a nice dripper so, my simple set up has now another atomizer option. But my Odysseus atomizer is my favorite all around. I really have no desire to even try another. Well, maybe someday a Kayfun.

Pretty certain my battery device will always be one of my Provari. I have a standard and a mini. Simply an extremely dependable, consistant, and durable APV for home and out. My go-to juice delivery attachment has been IBTanked pyrex cartotanks with Ikenvape cartomizers for over a year.

I have used RBAs, and when working optimally they are the best, however I have found them to be too fussy, undependable, inconsistant and time-needy for a primary juice attachment, and are a for-home-use-only attachment. Lately I've been using the iClear 30 clearomizers simply because of their convenience for out and about.

Wow, you guys are pretty hardcore...lol i'd better get my little newbie self outta here..lol

I dont think this is a thread for only long time or advanced users. I hope that this thread is somewhere a new person can get an idea of how you really dont need to spend a lot or have complicated setups to enjoy something satisfying.

Positively my Reo - Tried others when i began vaping. Actually started with the 510 Blu! Knew the concept would work but the Blu was not going to get it. Then went to Ego's which worked much better. Then got my Reo's and will never try anything else. I LOVE them. I was using the shorty carto's on them which work excellent. And at $1.40 a carto that lasts a week you can't beat the price. Now I have a RM2 coming and then I will build my own coils. Will Never switch from my Reo's. Maybe like mentioned add to my collection of them but all my only future purchases will all be Reo's! Can't get any better than that!

I have no idea what my forever setup would be, but I'm pretty happy with my mech and RBA. I'm not really on a search for vaping Valhalla, but something better is always a lure. I use a Sigelei 24 and an AGA-T2 right now, but I intend to order an RSST soon, when I can find it cheap enough. I really want the Vapinaze AC9 though, I got the Magneto, but didn't really care for it, and I'm still looking for a better mech I can afford.

For me it's pretty much mechs and RBA's. I can't think of why I'd want a regulated mod or another kind of atomizer, so the forever rig, if I ever find it, will be a mech and RBA one.

So far I have four.

My Itaste SVD for my round VV/VW
Itaste MVP2 for my box mod,
K101 for my Mech

all backed up by my old trusty VAMO

I don't know what I will have in the future, but one device ever six months might be my standard, a roe woodville would be cool, maybe a prover or whatever else is great at that time. I Plan to keep exploring in an affordable fashion.

Flavor switching and not having to screw on another atomizer. If you don't flavor switch often or dont mind crossover, totally liquid.. RY4 seems to go with everything lol..
A girl with a mech and a rba seems appropriate, internally known in ways, like sewing and needlepoint, I've seen some ladies make coils and they are fantastic..

Reo:
lol once you go Reo your blinded.. I mean throw it in a dishwasher and wow clean, thats a heckuva pv..

I am as newb as they come and currently am on the great juice hunt, lol. I love, love, love my eVic, Smok Pyrex DCTs and IBTanked tanks with Boge XL LRs, currently. Play with rebuildables but I don't use mine everyday, too 'fiddly' for me. Must admit that I am eyeing the iTaste VTR and a Reo Grand though. They keep coming up with all these wonderful toys <sigh>.

For the last few weeks I've been on a hunt for my perfect device but I can't find it. I was actually thinking about posting this exact thread. I use boge cartos in a tank almost exclusively. I've also come to love a nice carto tank on a kicked mech mod. Especially now that the kick2 goes to 15 watts. I have a magneto and like it quite a bit but its not perfect. I don't have any desire to spend $200 on a mod so I'd like to stay around $100. Though I can't find a mod matching my description I know what I want. I want a dedicated(non-tele) 18500 mod. Something that will take a kick2+18350. Adjustable or floating center pin and air channels in the top cap so I can flush mount my Fluid Flask. And very smooth locking bottom button. If I could find a mod with all these features in my price range I would be in heaven. It seems like mods are either $30 clones or $200+ and highend. There's not much around $100. Since clones have gotten much better I started looking at them. I've been told the Chi You and Nemesis clones have small center pins that block the airflow hole in boge cartos. None of the other clones match my description. So the answer to your question is NO, I have not found my "forever setup" and I'm pulling my hair out looking for it.

I quite agree with you, there's a lot about a mech and RBA setup that's very appealing to *some* women. In general though, women with that setup seem to be rare, and certain guys tend to look askance at us for having it. I get that from time to time, as though I were intruding on sacred male territory, and some guys seem to resent it. I really wish they would get over it.

With all the mods I have and all the atomizers I have tried.. the one set up that I take with me always and is very reliable and works in all temperatures is this...

The one in the dead center.. lol.. A GGTS with the top tube removed and using a 901 LR atomizer. I bought 150 of those atomizers a year ago from China. One lasts about a month. I drip pluid inside and although now I'm heavily using the kayfun (which is very reliable) I still can't leave home without my dripper set up.

So my forever for now set up is the one in the middle of pic. From day one when I quit and started vaping it's been the reliable one. If a friend wants to start vaping, I set them up with this. Yes I have to buy many GGs to provide my friends.. some of them have moved into Kafuns but like me they always carry a spare atomizer for emergencies. Old people especially like this set up. Very simple.

I've used my mini provari now for a little over a year (I had also bought a vtube the same week, but this is used for dry burning mostly now). For the first month tried out a carto and vivi nova, then went to a genesis rebuildable and used that exclusively for about 3 months. Then went to the gg atomizers. Then received a standard provari as a gift for my bday.

With being satisfied with the pv early on I was then able to focus on getting the right atomizer and found my setups, gg atomizer (usually ody for work and ithaka everywhere else) and a provari, sadly the penelopes don't get used as much. About a month ago had actually traded the only genesis atomizer I had for a chrome provari, the chrome now just kinda sits as a back up. Seriously love the titanium white provari with green led and extension cap.

Hoping not to really add anything else. I think the mechs look amazing and would love to add one, but can't really imagine not having the regulated voltage.
