I absolutely LOVE my Mini ProVari with an LR Boge carto in an AGR tank. It's never let me down. I like experimenting with building coils, dripping... whatever. I like tinkering and I like cool stuff. I have several mods and mechs and attys.....but my little ProVari and a carto/tank is all I ever leave the house with. If I could only keep 1 set up. that'd be it. Micro coils and cotton has been rewarding though, I use my ProVari while making them! hahahahaaa

There are too many APV's to choose from in every type...

but the ONE FOREVER would have to be my good ole REO GRAND.... it lives in my truck with spare IMR 18650.

It's not the flashiest in my bunch, but with an RM2, Micro Coil, and Cotton puff ball wick, its as good as anything I could rig up.

With all the mods I have and all the atomizers I have tried.. the one set up that I take with me always and is very reliable and works in all temperatures is this...

The one in the dead center.. lol.. A GGTS with the top tube removed and using a 901 LR atomizer. I bought 150 of those atomizers a year ago from China. One lasts about a month. I drip pluid inside and although now I'm heavily using the kayfun (which is very reliable) I still can't leave home without my dripper set up.

So my forever for now set up is the one in the middle of pic. From day one when I quit and started vaping it's been the reliable one. If a friend wants to start vaping, I set them up with this. Yes I have to buy many GGs to provide my friends.. some of them have moved into Kafuns but like me they always carry a spare atomizer for emergencies. Old people especially like this set up. Very simple.

Let's be friends.

I have a ProVari with an iBTanked that I really like and plan to keep, but it's too soon for me to say that this will be my forever kit, there's a lot of experimentation ahead for me!

I've tried a few things, currently on my desk are a couple Provari and a REO. I won't say forever, and have given up on the all day vape but the REO is getting the lions share of the action in my house. I like dripping and the REO makes that a no brainer. Combined with the RM2 which is very easy to rebuild I have found something that keeps me happy for now.

I found this thread fascinating as after 2 years of vaping I finally think I'm close to having a good all round kit.
Provari Mini 2.5 with extension - Silver with green LEDs and LR Boge cartos in a tank for every day.
Provari Standard 2.5 - Silver with blue LEDs and LR Boge cartos in a tank if I need more battery power. Mech wise a P+ 18650
Provape 1 and a Precise Simplicity with 510 cartos for out and about
Modified P+16 when I can't vape much and need a small mod.
I use a 306DCA in the house when I'm chilling out. I also have twist, spinner and MPVs to 'pick up and go' with evods on them and a K100 for my telescopic.
I've swapped and changed a hell of a lot but for me the Provaris and Precises won't be going anywhere no matter what leaves or joins them.

The part set that really completed something for me was the Polish Oddy-Kayfun upgrade by Vochu; topping a GGTS, utilizing the collector tank connection (not 510), soon topping a brass Just GG. I just love the the polish kit, and love leaving out the 510. The GG collector tank does what it's meant to do by giving excess juice condensation a place to be until cleaning. Every other device I've used gurgles eventually.

Before getting the Polish kit, the Oddy was my best vaping atty. In fact I can get the exact same performance from the Oddy, but the polish kit eliminates the need to join R/NR wires. I can set it up so fast, I've completely stopped using any disposable atomizers. I used to keep some around for the days I didn't have 20 minutes to kill on setting up the Oddy!

I still have Oddy's in rotation, because I only have two of the kayfun kits - to be happy I need 5 tanks available at any given time. I like to switch flavors during the day to keep from burning out on any of my favorites.

The all-day vape was as important to me as the all-life aspect. So an 18650 and double tank sections are required. I run a single AWG32 Kanthal micro-coil at 2ohms with cotton wick. I use yarn because it's less fiddly than dealing with the cotton balls - just takes a little more time to saturate the first time. I would have laughed at a 2ohm single coil last year... when dual coil low-res was the rage, but with less volt drop on newer mods and a better atomizer and better wick material this hits the spot for me. Regardless, I'll soon be grabbing a roll of AWG28.

Last year, I also pined away for a variable device. Eventually I got a Kick 1. It sees little or no use now. It helped me when I was less proficient at building coils. Now that I can dial the coil exactly every time, I've totally lost interest in any variable devices. That's not to say I don't occasionally stack some RCR123a's for the 6volt experience, but at that time I'm just showing off.

Juices... Night Light Vapor's Bounty Hunter Original, Gold, and Renegade; then AVE Bubba's Bounty (of course), and recently Vapetrik Dorky Stud!!! I could probably hit any one of those for a lifetime, so long as I occasionally hit an absinthe vape here and there. I keep some Scorpion Blood by Mido around for those occasions.

All that said, Atmomixani will always have a place in my heart. My 69 Mod will never leave my possession, and I consider it my black tie vape stick. I believe it will see more use when The Dome is released. The Nemesis is totally gorgeous, but I'm not sure I'll ever dig bottom buttons.

Looking back, I was able to survive for two years with just The Copper and some Joye 510's and eventually an Alpha Ultralight, but now I can't believe that was good enough for me... maybe it wasn't because now that I think of it I was still sneaking in some analogues during that period. Maybe it's best not to look back:facepalm:

I'm gonna have to go for the REO Grand on this one. Before I used to think about what fancy/well built mod I'd get next or would come out. After buying my first REO all I could think of is getting another, and I did and still funding more (I sold my Provari to fund the second one). Could last a lifetime, completely user rebuildable, I like the shape and look of it, easy to mod, you get the same quality vape you'd get from dripping which is by far the most superior in flavor, and pretty much you can use every single feeding system there is on it. Customer service doesn't get any better too.

REO Grand + RM2 + cotton micro coils = end game vaping nirvana. Nowadays I worry about making new crazy coils or trying out juices, and barely pay attention to any mods that come out.

Out of curiosity, I had to try a LOT of stuff.

I'm kinda moving away from vaping right now slowly but surely, but my list would look like this, in order:

My REOs - 2.1 18490 and a mini 1.0 14500 ---- main vape w/1.7ohm shorty cartos or cisco atty
Vision Spinner 1300mAH - grab n' go on errands
Vmod - the 2.0 is darling and fits beautifully in small hand
Provari - best tube mod out there---wish it had threading for clearos - traded it for a REO
Sigelei Zmax V3 - best tube mod after a Provari but I love the recessed connector and have fit every clearo tank you can think of on it (no adpater needed)

Other than these 5 things, I have never found anything else I liked. Don't feel I have to look further and I probably won't now

4 all day vapes: bobas bounty, TPR creamy mint, and my DIY strawberry and DIY watermelon - backup for when I need tobacco is copper creek twisted

I don't think I'll be vaping long enough to ever get around to RBAs so no reomizer for me. :(
