... Any way, how many out there have found their perfect setup and have stopped needing more? Dont get me wrong, I love what I have and now in the process of upgrading also. So let us know what finally made you say , AHhhh this is it?

When I started it was cartomizers; they are, in-a-way, an air filter that draws room air into the slots near the battery-button then that air gets combined with vape and is delivered to the mouthpiece; this leads to the filler becoming increasingly contaminated with whatever is in the air around you and you end up with a dirty filter/filler material making taste quality go down.
To a lesser degree Clearomizers do the same thing.

I finally found my niche when I got atomizers and cartridge drip-tips; you fill your own cartridges and can easily wash them out.
Now add a USB pluggable no-battery passthrough that won't fall apart in your hands after 20 hours of use and you are there.

I have never been looking for Vape Heaven, I've only been working towards reaching the point of sufficient satisfaction.
And that is a point I have reached a number of times, with each step forward that I take.

I don't really buy new stuff unless it has been proven over time, and I know it can improve my vaping experience.

I first reached the point of sufficient satisfaction after 3 months of vaping, which required three things...
--Moved from an RN4081 atomizer to a standard Joye 510 atomizer
--Decided to ditch cartridges altogether and just drip
--Moved from a stick battery to 18650 battery

So I reached sufficient satisfaction when I bought my first Chuck and was dripping with a 510 atomizer.

But I was not entirely satisfied, because my Chucks are too big to carry in my pants pocket.
So I needed a setup that I could use when I needed to maximize portability, like a day at Disneyland.

I again reached the point of sufficient satisfaction when I resolved the portability issue through the following steps...
--Found a juice (Dekang DK-TAB) that I could use all day after a 19 month long search
--Bought a Mini Reo after 23 months

Then my entire vaping world got a bit shaken up when I decided to try out the 4.8v NiMH batteries after 28 months.
These brought me to a higher level of sufficient satisfaction with my Chucks, but ruined my Mini Reo!

So after 30 months I bought a 650 mah Twist for my portability solution.
And I am now back to the level of sufficient satisfaction.

Along the way there were only a couple of purchases I made that were not satisfactory for me...
--Dozens and dozens of 510 stick batteries
--A couple of BE112 atomizers
--A package of KR808D-1 cartomizers
--A 510/KR808D-1 adapter
--A couple of 306 atomizers
--A Bartleby mod

It's likely to be quite awhile before I buy anything new, as my level of satisfaction is now extremely high.
:)

Pretty much in it right now.
Took me 80 days and lots and lots of orders.
Finally settled with a surge tank on my provari with a .357/iken canon/io6/cisco 306 (all about equivalent to me... think I like the .357 the best when I don't break 'em)
And as far as juice: Juicy vapor ectoplasm / Cola (BWB,iVape, or my own DIY)

I don't see myself changing any of my gear anytime soon (unless I decide to purchase a rebuildable tank-atty once I wrap my head around the concept)

But still... Nice and cheap after this point.

Actually it was the first time I vaped, but that hasn't stopped the little gadget freak that lives in the center of my head from having his fun.

It was the same for me - I was in heaven from the first puff. But I'm also a gadget freak who's got to try everything.

Today was pretty close - I opened up my first bottle of Watermelon flavour juice and that's pretty close to heaven right there.

I just had another thats IT moment. I have some juices on hand that are 100% vg and havent used them cause I didnt want to mess up any of my cartos left. I just put some in the new Kanger c4 i got earlier this week and wow! Im in vape heaven. I dont know if its cause the juice has had a chance to age for about a month or its just finally being able to get vaped properly, but it is good. I am thrilled to see that I now have a choice. I will keep my clearer lighter colored juices for my cartos and tanks, and use my thicker, cloudier juice for the Kanger atty. The juices I got from Vermillion Rivers are great, but even though all my juice is now 50/50 some juice flavors are just thicker. Im in vape heaven for now.

Well, I had that heavenly moment a couple of weeks ago when I finally got in my beautiful black Saber Touch 3.7 volt MOD. Then I thought I was in heaven when I got a VIVi Nova, I had actually wanted to get the Steam Machine VST but thought It was more than I wanted to spend, though it looked fantastic and all the reviews and how tos made it seem like the easiest rebuildable out there. I bought 3 Vivi novas and Xtra heads and aluminum tanks. They are nice and after a few modifications they are nice, real nice but real fiddly. Fiddly enough that I still used my cartos and tanks 90 % of the time.

I finally decided to go ahead and get the Steam Machine VST. Damn if it isnt the easiest set up, no breaking in time, no spills, no odd taste or dry burning, just take it apart drip some juice onto the wicks and fill the reservoir up with about 2 mils of juice ( 90% VG) and its vaping like the little steam engine logo on its side. What craftmanship, goes together like butter. No rough edges. A small work of art. Its the best dang 100.00 dollars Ive spent other than my Saber Touch. It is so tasty and you can adjust the temperature ( hence the VST=variable steam temp) Even though it has some filler in the reservoir it doesnt actually come into contact with the atty and so it doenst get the filler taste. It just sort of sits above the cone and way above the wicks and sends juice along it to the atty head and creates the massive amount of clouds. You dont even get the wick taste as the wicks are suspended way above the coil. It just sends the juice onto it and man its nice.
If youre thinking about a good rebuildable with much longer drip or juice refill, without the amount of parts on the genesis types and inherent slight leaks, this is your answer. Forget the Vivi and all the little inconveniences and fiddling, try the Steam Machine.

The only thing I wish they would make is a larger wider version of this, that is not so long and narrow, but wider and it would be perfection.

I thought it was great when I first vaped on an ego-T, thought it was better when I finally ditched the crappy tank system and got some cartos. Was in love with vaping when I got my BB and vivi nova, really enjoyed dripping for the first time a couple weeks ago. But vape heaven for me, has been the rebuildables, I have the Atom Bomb from S&S Mods, and now the iHybrid from Faceless, and OMG, they blow anything else I have used out of the water!!

Update on my heavenly moment, the Steam Machine was vaping up a storm with great taste, etc. But now its getting some dry , slightly burned taste. I like to update things like this so that if anyone is thinking about getting a device like these, they can be aware of any problems ahead of time. I hope I get some help on the Steam Machine forum soon. It was sooooo good for hours. Im sure its a quick fix. I will let you all know.

Update, there is nothing wrong with the steam machine, I flooded it and I guess than juice burned to a crust on the coil. That was the reason for the burned taste. I decided to jump right in and make a new wick and coil, no problem, had it perfect, than came getting the little ceramic cup off so I could run the wire down the side and I broke the cup off. I was having problems getting it off, searched all over but could not find a video tutorial on how to take the ceramic cup off, it just showed the cup was removable. Now I have to wait about more days for the cup to get here, but I still need to know how it comes off because the ceramic cups stem is still attached to the steel stem.

First time when I tasted cherry cola...finally enough throat hit!

True Nirvana came when I got my REO- it was over a year ago, and it's still bliss. I take a gander at other setups, and some are even interesting, but when I think about all of the hassle and mess with tanks, clearos and other thingamabobs- I cling to my REO, and know it's just perfect for me.

My first auto penstyle from Puresmoker had me the minute I realized it had actually quelled my nic craving. I still get a little misty thinking about that moment. I knew immediately that these were something special. Nowadays, I have such a variety of gear that I find myself in Vape Heaven a lot. Got some cartos in the mail today because I hadn't used anything with filler in a long time, got them for backups for my backup's backups, and am in love. Something about the filler taste, or the way cartos vaporize juice, that satisfies me to no end.

And as much as smoking was a habit, vaping is my hobby. I will probably never tire of trying new stuff out. I'm making my own juices now, still buying juices, and starting to do research on mod making. Headed to my first vapemeet this weekend, hoping to meet some local enthusiasts and see if we can't get some sort of regular monthly community thing going on.

Love all your stories, by the way. Great stuff. Vape on, you wonderful people. :D
