vaping is like any other human nature...wanting, not necessarily needing.

I think Eddie Vedder summed it up in his song "Society":

"It's a mystery to me;
We have a greed, with which we have agreed.
You think you have to want more than you need.
Until you have it all, you won't be free."

Please enjoy a vape with whatever setup you have…

For me, the REO Grand is that freedom Vedder is talking about.:vapor:

for those of you who having trouble getting off analogs (stinkies, coffin nails, deathsticks, whatever) you might want to look into WTA by aroma ejuice.. Whole Tobacco Alcaloids. no, this isn't a paid advertisement or anything.. it's just something that truly works for those who need that missing feeling you get when you smoke an analog.. you might want to look into that.

Have you gotten frustrated with vaping?

Oh yes, about a thousand times since i started in February this year. All the crap i carry around now...
Charged battery+spare,working atomizer+spare,charger,car charger,nic juice+non nic juice+same in another flavour...
And always staying ahead of "stock" because if you run out of anything you are toast, nowhere to buy but online.
And the maintenance,charging,cleaning,dry burning.

BUT i'm smoke free and running, surfing, waking up (just living in general)is wonderful with my "new" lungs and cardiovascular system.
And i don't have guilty "i'm stupid" thoughts everytime i hear about cancer.Nobody's risk free but no-smoking is a huge step forward.
So overall,no matter how much you spend, how freaky you might feel, how frustrated...it's all worth it.

You know, I'm beginning to think it's luck of the draw. I've accidentally soaked auto batteries countless times. Some never recovered, and some it never bothered. Maybe the ones made on Friday morning are just better lol?

Yeah, these aren't even auto batteries, they're Egos. Maybe the rubber seal around the center post isn't the greates. I don't know, but it's always the button that has messed up. It's not like I smack it around either.

Sucks dude. I've been wearing these Igo batteries out for 4 or 5 months now, as they have become my all day vape for the most part. I know it's coming LOL. One day they'll keel over dead on me. Freakin buttons.

Frustrated with vaping? Many, many times. I have never had a problem with any particular battery just the atomizers. Regardless of any new atomizer I try, I always go back to the Boge LR 2.0 cartomizers. I find that these work the best for me with a drip tip. I hope they never stop making them, if they did not sure what I would do.

I've been frustrated and ready to call it quits several times, usually after I've purchased something that didn't pan out (juice or device). I have even quit vaping for a week or two on a few occasions. I always end up wanting a cigarette and my PV saves the day! I'm very grateful for this. I don't know if I will always be a regular vaper, but I think I will always have a PV handy in case I get the urge to buy a pack of smokes. I NEVER want to go back to smoking cigarettes.

This is a good thread.

Like most people, I started off frustrated when I purchased my little m410 pv or whatever the model was called, then trying vanilla 510s.

Still was frustrating so I bought lots of DIY flavors, PG and VG bottles and some 100mg/ml nic juice from the States. Mixing was fun for a while but it soon turned out to be a pain constantly making new and crappy tasting flavours and trying to make them all as close to 36mg as I could, all the while being horribly paranoid about spilling my 100mg/ml death liquid on myself or my desk.

Around that time, when they came out I made the investment in an EGO and some LR atties, which seemed like the best mass produced "heavy" option for vaping at the time. I stopped bothering with DIY mixing new flavours or buying any other juice than good old reliable Dekang stuff at the time too. It's kept me happy enough now for well over a year, and after I picked up my drip tip a few months after the EGO came out I was even happier.

Atties still annoy me, what, with some dying randomly after a week or less, and others just not burning juice well enough after a short while, but each LR atty only costs around the same as a pack of smokes, so I dont feel like I've wasted money even when I get a dud or two and they die early (on average now I go through around 5 LR atties every 2-3 months). I've been happy with my EGO batteries too. After 3 months or so of use they stopped blinking when they were out of charge, then they've been slowly lasting shorter times between charges ever since. But after around 18 months of using them all 4 of my original batterries still work, although they only vape properly for a couple hours now before needing a charge.

Another thing that I think has helped me has been keeping a pack of my old cigarettes around. Once every few months when my atties are annoying me or life gets frustrating, I light up an old stale Peter Jackson. I find they taste absolutely disgusting, and dont give me any magic nic hit that I'm not getting from my EGO. After a few drags I usually say to myself "ok this is horrible" and then I find when I take my next hit off my EGO it tastes a lot better :D

Once the next great mass produced e-cig or atty comes out I might switch up from my EGO/LR setup, but I'm pretty content for now and I just ordered a couple more EGO batterries to replace my half dead ones.

I haven't had an analog since I failed a job interview in June, and I still have the same pack of cigarettes in my car that I bought in March 2010 :)

I've had very little frustrations, but I think I have lower expectations or something. I'm still on ego batts and with AVE liquid and 306 atties, I'm perfectly happy. For the odd wiping down of some liquid....I associate that with the trade off of not stinking. Seems like a fine tradeoff :) I'll get a bottom feeder eventually but for now I've saved a bunch of cash, have zero interest in a real smoke, and have never really had much in the way of frustration. But as I said, i think I have lower expectations.

edit: in fact I just got new ave juice in my mail box: chai, hype, more boba and gamel. Love getting liquid mail :)
