I was browsing in Amazon, where they stopped sellers from selling e-cigs. But, there was this smokeless cigarette from a seller. They claimed in the description that it was better than e-cigs, which I currently use (KR808). I'm curious because I remain worried about e-cigs since it's so new and a few carcirogenics have been found in some brands.

I found this article about the smokeless in google news if you type:
"first smokeless cigarette" (sorry, I'm too new to post URLs yet)

if a smokless cigarette is better for jump on it
i will stick with the PV
it already has FDA approved junk in it ,the device itself may not be
but the ingredients are
i think your worried over nothing though

Do you mean this? Google "Aero smokeless cigarettes"

I tried these about 3 years ago. In my opinion....eww. They are little plastic tubes and you cut off each end before you use it. They aren't round like a cig, but sort of narrow oval. I think the air activates the tobacco lining. There is no smoke or vapor at all. Personally, I hated them and went right back to analogs. :nah:

I tried the marlboro version of this many years ago. I forget the name of it. There was a weird taste which I attribute to the carbon something tip or filter. Although smokeless as in second hand smoke it still used combustion so all the nasties associated with inhaling a combustible product were still there.

I recall at the time that it was really odd having full length used cigs still laying in the ashtray.

I also tried something similar to what you are describing. It was about 10 years ago, that "device" gave me a sore on my lip and I went right back to cigs

I think were all actually in PG related coma's, dreaming up this whole little community thing we have going on here.

Have no fear though, the governments going to come and save us ;)

Whew! That's a relief! I am glad that my tax dollars are going to go towards something useful for a change!:D

This is one coma I'm happy to be in and a pretend community that I'm thrilled with. I'm sure the gum'ment will figure out some way to save us from ourselves :D

By chance was this an Eclipse cig? I tried those too (gosh, looks like I've tried about everything!) It had to be lit and had some sort of heating element, but didn't burn down. It did have tobacco, only had a few minutes of use, and looked like full cigs were sitting in the ashtray.

Yeah that was it. Wish I knew about PV's back then if they were even available at that time.

What worries me about e-cig is that the e-liquid isn't as controlled in the way it's made as I wish. Also, the material of the sponge worries me because it burns and we don't know about the danger of inhaling the burn of the sponge. Other than that, I still think e-cigs are much healthier than analogs, but I think smokeless can be (potentially) healthier. Swedish Match wants to introduce smokeless too.

joe- the "sponge" doesn't burn. There is no fire, nothing is lit, nothing burns. Now sometimes a little "hair" of the cart filler will get caught in the atomizer and it makes the vape taste bad, then you just pull it off of there and all is well. As far as the quality of e liquid is concerned, you'd be surprised at how clean and controlled these factories in China are! And like you said "I think e cigs are much healthier than analogs" too!

Yes, they found a couple of carcinogens, in the juice, at levels that are essentially harmless. These are the same carcinogens found in all of the smoking cessation products like gum and lozenges, and at approximately the same levels.

They come from tobacco during the nicotine extraction process, and are present in cigarettes at 1500 times higher levels.
