Have you planned an "out" or exit strategy?

So recently I was surprised to find people who have actually planned an exit strategy for vaping. This is a totally different mentality than I understand. I smoked for 20 years, quit for 7, smoked for 2 more years and thank god found vaping. People used to say, "Sic, I am so proud of you for not smoking anymore." My response was always please don't be, I love smoking and the only reason that I don't smoke is for my kids." For me it has always been the act of smoking that kept me doing it. I enjoy deep inhales of something besides air going into my lungs along with the ability to blow out a massive cloud that I can shape into rings, release slow and surround myself with, or blow out fast when I am frustrated like when I am on the phone and become annoyed with what someone is saying to me. I like waking up with my coffee and performing this action, I like to perform this action after dinner, and most importantly I like to perform this action after doing the "hokey pokey." All of my juice currently has no nicotine. The only reason that I am considering getting it with nic is because I find that without it many juices are weak in flavor. Personally I hate the flavor of smoking and the smell, that's why I smoked cloves when I went back to it.
My goal was to quit smoking and to never smoke again. Beyond that I love vaping and am not sure that I will ever want to give it up. So my questions are, do you have an exit strategy, what is that exit strategy, or are you a Vaper4Life?

HELLO V4L's what up!?

ya dude. Im a vapor 4 life as far as Im concerned right now. but who knows what the future will bring? unlike most people here who have smoked longer than I've been alive, I only smoked about 4-5 years and knew I was addicted to the habbit. Thats why vaping works great for me. I get to satisfy my habit without the horrid health consequences. I know Im not anywhere near ready to give up my habit!

Originally I figured vaping would help me quit smoking, beyond that I had the vague idea I'd then quit vaping. Then I realised that in many ways, vaping is way better than smoking. I still crave a cigarette sometimes, especially when someone on tv lights a cig and takes a long, deep inhale. I really want one! I can never have even one cigarette or that will be that. I still have the vague idea I might quit vaping one day, but certainly not in the near future.

i still occasionally have an analog... mainly when I am drinking.... I hate HATE the taste of them now.... but I went into vaping with the mindset of using it inside and not quitting.... problem was I started vaping and never needed that analog... no urge what so ever... I still have my last pack in plain view staring at me...

I don't know if I'll vape forever..... but I certainly see no reason or feel any pressure (internal or external) to quit, like I did analogs. The thing is, the whole vaping experience is fun. It smells/tastes good. I enjoy playing with the vaping paraphernalia. I never thought of smoking as fun. So now that I'm not sucking carcinogens in, why not continue to have fun if I feel like it?

I am a vaper 4 life! I used ecigs once to quit smoking and before I knew it I was smoking again. This time I don't plan on quitting (vaping). At first I didn't even want to drop my nic level I figured I'd just vape nicotine forever (I  nicotine). But now I'm thinking about it. I really hate being addicted to something, especially when I'm in situations where I can't have any  But so goes the life of a closet vaper. It definitely won't be anytime soon if I do decide to drop it though :D

I loved smoking! Absolutely loved it! I have social anxiety and nothing beat it better than removing myself from everything and going out to have a cigarette. Nothing else bothering me, just sitting there focusing on inhaling and exhaling. That first cigarette felt so amazing that I knew I was hooked! Plus, smoking with the other smokers made it easier to make friends, so it was a win win! I'm not going to say I'm happy I started smoking, but I am ecstatic that I found vaping and I never want to give it up!!

I have no intention to quit vaping. I have been decreasing my nic level - down to 11 from 36 and doing well, but I don't think I'll ever quit vaping. I smoked for 25 years, so there was obviously something I liked about it. Now I like that same thing about vaping. Since I can now enjoy that without killing myself, polluting my air, smelling bad, feeling bad, etc... why quit?

I also loved to smoke...but the family had enough. Now that I am vaping I feel better, enjoy the fact that I can taste the food I eat and don't smell offensive to others. I have lowered my nic level and will continue on that journey. I don't vape around the grandchildren (they are young). Who knows what the future holds...but even if I decided to quit or really cut back on my vaping I would ensure I have enough supplies on hand to make sure I never go back to smoking analogs:)

I don't like being addicted to anything so I would like to get my Nicotine down to 0.

That being said, I thoroughly enjoy sitting on the back patio on a beautiful day reading a book with a nice cigar\cig... With 0 nicotine vaping I can still enjoy that without the addiction (that's my goal).

Personal History:
Smoked for 1 Year, Quit cold turkey for 2 Years...
Smoked for 6 months, Vaped for 4 months, Quit for 1 Year...
Smoked for 3 Months, Currently Vaping while lowering my nicotine...

Always smoked cloves for the taste\smell. Can't stand the smell\taste of regular cigs. Now if I could only find the perfect clove eliquid...
