Have you tried Kangers new cotton coils?

Hey, the thread title says it. Here is a link to what im talking about. I hope links are ok here. I think the old style are silica and they taste worse than the previous generation, but last longer.

There is a thread about this already, but only one person replied and I can't post there yet because im new. Also, whats the deal with "japanese cotton". is china's reputation so bad they have to lie about importing legit cotton to use in their coils? haha

Sorry to hear this. I was hoping the introduction of OCC coils for the 'old' Kanger clearomizers might prove to be an exciting chance to revisit all those tanks.

Maybe it really is time to give them all away.

The old style occ are definitely cotton. The new style are vertical. From what others have said (on the thread linked in that thread you mentioned) it definitely works better at higher wattages and wicks faster.

I think you may have misunderstood. Previously I was using these:

Kanger Dual Coil Atomizer Heads (enclosed wick) - 1.8ohms

which I don't think are cotton. I am wondering if the cotton coils linked previously are any better and if so, should I purchase a different ohm rating. I use a istick 20w and aerotank v2.

for new vapers, I would not recommend cotton.
New vaper + cotton = recipe for burnt cotton.

I wouldn't exactly say im new to vaping... just not into making my own coils and all that. I understand cotton burns quickly when not allowed to soak for a bit. Anything else?

Oh nice! I've always wanted kanger to do this and imo they should have months ago. I think I might finally love my genitank when I try these. I always loathed the enclosed dual coils. I never got good flavor probably because of the silica. I wonder if vaporshark is going to change their version to cotton as well.... I liked the ni200 version better than the standard ones.
