510 is not the best for everyone. I currently use a box mod which would not be for you at least starting out since you think you want something that looks like a real cigarette. Most people, including myself, feel this way at first but quickly realize looking like a real cig is not that important. Battery life, flavor, throat hit, and vapor production quickly become more important than looking like a real cig. I would probably recommend a KR808 to a beginner because it looks like a real cig just longer. It will give you longer battery life than a 510 and uses cartomizer so you don't have to fool with dripping or filling carts. Cartomizers are much easier to refill and last longer between filling than carts. I use 510 cartomizers and get about an hour of heavy vaping out of a full cartomizer. I would think an kr808 cartomizer would be similar I just haven't tried one yet. Whatever e- cig you buy you should find an American juice vendor that sells custom made juice and order 30ml in different flavors. The juice that comes in most starter kits is usually terrible. Getting bad juice could make you give up on e- cigs immediately. My first e- juice order was Dekang and it almost made me gag. I quickly went back to smoking real cigs until I ordered some juice from vaporbomb.com and this helped me give up real cigs completely. Check out the juice reviews section to find a vendor and flavors you think you will like and order different flavors from that vendor. I would probably start by ordering 6 5ml bottles of juice which would last you a couple of weeks.

Alright............I THINK I am narrowing it down a bit (until I read some more....lol)
Now looking at Joye egomaniac kit, Joye 501, and a electronicstix 501 cartomizer.
Basically I am looking for longest battery life and less refilling the carts.
I have been reading and reading and reading.....lol and am shy about the 501 carts. seems like alot of people are talking about 10 hits and then refill..............which would probably just tick me off.

Somebody please just tell me, out of those 3; which one to buy and I can stop looking at these things and start trying them

If battery life and no hassle is important to you, then buy the eGo with cartomizers.

And eGo battery will get you through the better part of a day on one charge, and cartomizers go for 2-4 hours, depending on use.

I'm assuming the eGo Maniac kit you're looking at is on GoodProphets.com? It does come with a Kr808 carto and adapter, which will give you a feel for how long cartomizerss go for. If you like it, simply continue to buy more cartomizers. They also make them for the 510, like I said.

I think the eGo kit will fit you best.

Take the Ego and you won't be disappointed. Long battery life great throat hit and awesome vapor. 6 hours battery life for heavy vaping. Don't forget to get the e-juice. try for 10ml for each flavor you choice and feel the flavor. Once you get the flavor you want then that's the time top order 30 to 60ml of those.

Next question:
I went to the vaporbomb site and was looking through the selection there.
What is the vg/pg mix and what is the difference?

There are no dumb questions. We all had to go through the same process at one point or another.

PG and VG are liquid bases for the juice. They have different characteristics when vaporized.

PG gives a stronger throat hit and more flavor, but less vapor.

VG gives a softer throat hit, a lot more vapor, but sometimes muffles the flavor a bit.

Everyone has a different preferences. Some vape only PG, or only VG, or a mix of both.

Personally, I mostly vape 90% PG, 10% VG. Strong throat hit and REALLY strong flavor is more important to me than vapor production, but that 10% VG gives it a little extra bump. Your mileage may vary. Try a couple small bottles of different mixes and see what you like.

OK,
I have stuff ordered from all over everywhere. All the carts have what I want in them and I am ready to order.
Now the question I have is does anyone have coupons or promo codes for these places?

goodprophets.com
freedomsmokesusa.com
vaporbomb.com
myfreedomsmokes.com

I am ordering the Joye egomaniac kit and 5 empty cartomizers from goodprophets

Wyatt Earp juice 30ml 24mg
Winston juice 3ml 24mg
Hopscotch juice 5ml 24mg
From freedomsmokesusa.com

Blackberry juice 5ml 24mg
Desert ship juice 5ml 24mg
Cinnabomb juice 5ml 24mg
From vaorbomb.com

Marbro juice 20ml 24mg
Hilton juice 10ml 24mg
Joye ego mega cartomizer
3 3ml 18g needles
From myfreedomsmokes.com

Does this look right?................anything I have forgotten.....anything I don't really need? Have I gone completely overboard? Do I need some filler material?
I am actually getting excited about this and hope I can quit smoking analogs.
Any more help and advice is greatly appreciated. I am going to order all this stuff as soon as I get some feedback.

I would get a little more variety in nicotine strengths, if I were you. I smoked 30 a day, sometimes filterless, and 24mg is too high for me. Just because you're a heavy smoker doesn't always mean you need really high nicotine. Get some of them at 18mg.

Also, I wouldn't order 30ml of a juice if you haven't tried it yet. It's best to order a small sample of juices because if you don't like Wyatt Earp, you're stuck with a whole 30ml of it. I think you have enough samples to get you through until you find out what you like and order more of it.

And remember- there isn't any juice out there that tastes just like your brand of cigarettes that you like. All tobacco juices I've tried taste like un-lit tobacco smells. You know that smell when you open a fresh pack of cigarettes? Yes, that smell. Sort of like raisins.

Those are all quality suppliers. Here is a coupon code master list: Electronic Cigarette Coupon Code Master List - Electronic Cigarette Forum

If you get your order and your juice is too strong, ask around in the forum and someone will give you directions on how to cut the strength, it's pretty simple and you can always take your nic level down a notch.

The first part of the ecig to wear out is usually the atomizer. I would order a back up or two as soon as I could.

Agreed. Within about 2 or 3 days you'll probably be wanting more vapour and longer battery life. The fact is vaping is different from smoking, even the Super Minis don't emulate the feel of a cigarette. They may look superficially similar but they're made of metal and plastic and the weight and solidity is very different. The best way to emulate a cigarette IMO is in terms of performance - and I'd go as far as to say that the right gear can outperform a cigarette.

I would also recommend, being a recent convert myself, getting a passthrough in addition to an ecig. They're usually dirt cheap, perform consistently well and without fuss and will work with the same bits and pieces you use on your ecig. If you're at home then you never need to worry about cycling batteries - you just pick it up and vape away - and convenience and reliability is a big issue in moving away from cigarettes.

I agree with the above posters - I dont buy 30 ml of any new flavors because its a big commitment for something I could hate. I tend to buy small (or as small as i can get from theat supplier, not all suppliers do the 6ml sizes) first to sample the flavor. Even from suppliers I have used before; because stuff I think I might like doesn't always hit the spot like I hope.
+1 on the spare atties too. Mostly mine are good but Ive had times when they start going downhill after a couple weeks (especially if I've dialled my Buzz up to use a higher voltage, atties dont like that much lol).

Quick update,
I got my first package in the mail today. Vaporbomb wins the package race.........lol
Unfortunately i have 5 different 5ml bottles of juice and nothing to try them with. They do all smell delicious though.
I am already impressed with Vaporbomb. They sent me a free a sample (5ml grape) and a little hand written thank you on my receipt. I guess I am easily impressed, but little things like "hand written" goes a long way with me.
Patiently waiting for my 3 other packages.............
