Now that you generally know what you want. Next is a reminder to make sure you get the right batteries with your device and to get good quality batteries from a reliable vendor. And, make sure to have a spare battery so you have one to use while the other is charging.

Oh, and backups!

Hmmm... My experience (mine only) is that these "cheap" electronic mod systems last considerably longer than 6-12 months.

I have a Vamo V3 that's still going strong after three years of nearly daily use. Vamo V5 for two.

I don't baby them, but I don't toss them around or rough'em up, either.

These were supposed to be mods that would die on me in a matter of months. They show no signs of letting up.

Granted, these are genuine KSD devices. I've only had trouble with so-called styled electronics.

My experience (again, mine only) is that as long as it was made well and you don't abuse it, it will be around years from now.

Welcome back into returning to vaping! I stopped for awhile, and the improvements are pretty vast :) It might be wise to try a few tried and true brands that are inexpensive as starter setups to see what you like. The Pico starter kit can be a popular choice. I'd start with figuring out if you want an internal battery charge vs. external batteries that you charge separately, and also maybe go to a vape shop if you have the ability to do so, to specifically look at various popular models and what seems/feels good in your hand. Then you can research those options, and purchase online, probably for less than from a B&M.

Good luck!

Bump for the Pico kits although I personally recommend the pico25 instead as it spaced the tank and battery sled further apart so they could give you a tank with a little better juice capacity.

Thanks for all the replies, very helpful. I'll be avoiding top 10 sites in future and with regards to what I'm looking for in a vape, well I'm not too concerned with clouds nor with flavor as long as both meet the standard/average level... if such a thing exists. I miss the nicotine, I've not smoked for a few years now and haven't used e-cigs either but I still crave the joys both brought.

I'm looking at the Series-B DNA at 75w thanks to those that recommended it, it seems to be pretty solid all round.

So if the Series B DNA mod will last potentially a couple of years or more (6 month warranty) and one 18650 battery will last maybe a year or more? Then the only other things you'll need are a tank which on average usually last between 2-4 weeks, coils around the same? These are rough estimates using Google and I know it depends on the persons vaping habits but would you agree that that is about right for the average vape use per day?

Finally I was looking at Jac's website they sell e-liquids in 50ml bottles at £13.00 ($17.00) is this a good deal?

Thanks again for all the responses.

Hi JDW, and welcome back to the amazing world of vape.

I'm going to jump in, and 4th and 5th the suggestion of a JAC Series-B (not the tilt), topped with a Ego One Mega Tank (and the CLR coils that go with it). Altho it's a truly marvelous set up, there are so many others from which to choose.

DancingHeretik gave you some great battery information. You'll need a good charger, too.

I doubt I'm alone in saying it -- PLEASE LET US KNOW what you eventually decide. :)
