So, this is week 2 with my e-cig (I'm using 2 different ones). Got all my stuff ready to take along plus had my eGo ready for the car ride. I forgot all the other stuff! I'm just not used to having to gather up so much paraphanalia just to get my fix! Now, I'm stuck at work with a e-.... that *might* run out of power and no juice! When to charge, what to charge, and how long is becoming a real issue. I'd love to be able to plug everything in right before bed but the directions said these things could EXPLODE if you are not watching them. Anyone have their e-cigg explode and start a fire?????

When I charge kr808 batteries I leave them charging all night, I never leave batteries on a trustfire charger without me being there.

It sounds like you should just get some more/bigger batteries so you don't have to worry about it. The batteries in my mod last about 12 hours and I carry a spare set around with me, so I never worry about charging anymore at work.

Hi There Murr.
Maybe this give you sonme idea's.
Ego has a carry case kinda similar to an eye glass case. My wife can fit several 1000mah charged batts and some tanks pre-filled in there and a extrax cont /atty . One of them Batts last most a full day let alone 2 of them.
Having some extra spare pv things in a carry case works well.

In a house...
Here is my setup. I don't know where you work, but if you're in front of a PC (and for your car), I find that having my eGo pass-thru's batteries are the way to go. That way, if I'm at work, in the car, where ever, I can charge it up if I need to.

If you're not familiar, a pass through is a battery with a USB connection on the end that allows you to vape while the battery charges, or leave it on and it won't drain the battery while you vape.

I already had a USB charger in my car for my phone (the kind you can remove the USB cord), so I just got a cord for the eGo batt that I leave in my car. I have one at work, and at home.

I also do have a little carrying case that I keep a 10 ml bottle of whatever I'm vaping on (keep your old juice bottles, buy in large quantities (juices that you know you like, that is) and fill your older smaller bottles to use while on the go), an extra battery and a carto, for just in case. (I suppose you could actually keep the USB cord in the case as well...hadn't thought of that!)

It can be a little overwhelming at first, because you keep finding yourself in scenario's you hadn't seen coming....but don't worry, this too shall pass. You'll eventually pass the learning curve and move on to the bigger learning curve of trying to figure out exactly what type of device and voltage combo you really like with what juice...THAT's the real hard part, but fun to experiment! :)

Enjoy!

When I leave home I take a small eGo case in addition to my PV. The case is the size of eyeglass case and it holds two eGo type batteries and has pockets to hold cartos, juices, etc. I find that it is plenty to last me through the day and keeps everything neat and organized so when I leave I can just grab it and go. The case is only $10 or so and worth every penny.

I had a scare about a month ago with a charger. The cable went up. I mean it went up. Black smoke...the whole nine yards. If I wouldn't have been here and 3 feet away from it when it happened, my house would have gone up with it. I never leave anything plugged in anymore. It scared me that bad. The charger wasn't old either. Not too long ago, someone on ECF had an eGo battery that was plugged into their computer shoot sparks out the end of it. Her computer wasn't damaged but the eGo was toast. So using a little common sense when charging could save you and your property...don't leave stuff plugged in unattended.

As for having stuff ready to take with you, even if you put some stuff in a sandwich bag, would work. Some juice, atomizers/cartomizers, and a couple of batteries. You can also use a hard eyeglass case to put some stuff in. Some people also use an Altoids tin but make sure you put a condom on the battery end...I read that if they come in contact with the tin, it will drain them down.

This is what I ordered for the BF and myself. We each have one. It is NOT branded when it arrives. It's a little wider than the others, but I'm holding spare batteries and cones, 4 5ml juices, 2 10ml juices, spare LR atties and spare tanks in it.

Travel Case

At a recent meet, someone suggested this case from Walmart, in the pharmacy with the diabetic supplies. It's great for carrying even more if you need it. I love the handle. It doesn't have that zippered part in the right side of the box as shown, but the zippered part on the left is held with velcro and can be moved. The mesh zipper part is there. It was about $8 in Walmart. And it was much smaller than I was expecting, but holds a nice amount of juices and spares.
