Well I got my GLV2 this morning. So far its been one disappointment after another. Had my batteries all charged in anticipation of its arrival. 1 out of the 4 doesn't fit altho they are all exactly the same. I finally get 2 that fit and so far I've gone thru 4 different brand new atomizers and nada.......so far the only thing I can get to fire is a carto and its so hot it burns me.

Did I just get a defective one???

Well Jay recommends using the AW 16340's but I don't see how there should be that much of a issue with the Trustfire's I think as far as getting a atty to fire, did you get one of the new GLV's with the adjustment screw under the atty? If so it sound like you need to adjust the pin that makes the connection to the atty up as it sounds like it's not getting a connection. Some cartomizers and adapters have longer screw threads on them and will push the pin down, that's what the adjustment screw below the atty is there for.

Hope that helps,
Kevin

PS Super-T has the AW 16340 battery's in stock if you need some while Jay's supply is out.

What kind of Atty are you using? There is one atty made by Bauway that won't work no matter what I do on my GLV-2. Make sure you aren't using a LR atty, one hit with one the 5v will fry it. Also, I use the AW batteries, only and they last for hours.
If the stuff recommended doesn't work, give Jay a call.

I dont think resistance is the issue here since Russ posted that video showing us all that any resistance atty can work fine on a GLV. As for the batteries not fitting, I have read this a few times, I myself have not had issues they were a little tight in the beginning but now fit fine. If the atty's arent heating, then it is possible you need to adjust the screw to raise the pin a little.

Well I've contacted Madvapes about the odd battery. andnow I'm getting things to fire. What I'm NOT getting is any kind of time on the batteries. I've now got 3 different kinds, the ones recommended by Jay, the Tenergies and some Lifepo4. At most I get 2 hours and the least I get is from the AW 16340's at less than 1/2 hour. what's going on? This shouldn't be burning thru the batts that fast should it?

I called 5 days ago and never got a call back. I'll try to call again cuz if anything things are worse now. two fresh out of the chargers(2 different chargers) and nothing on either set.

wow sorry about that, I get a lot of calls. feel free to call back if you don't get me on the phone. I'm sure I can fix your issue no problem.
