I'm on my second Seven-22 (non floating center pin). I had the first one replaced for the exact same issue I'm having with this one. No matter what atty I throw on it, be it a Russian or a Kanger Areotank, after about 5-10 minutes of vaping on a new battery the voltage starts dropping below 3v and I get the "Low Batt" message. The kicker is, if I hit the bottom of the mod, It will jump back up to 4v and work fine. I never sub ohm on my atty's, I keep them at about 1.2-1.5 ohm's and the unit between 14-17w. So far I've tried 4 MNKE's from 2 different sellers and 2 King Kong ICR26650's. Anyone else having this issue? Anyone know of a fix? I'd hate to give up on this thing since I've purchased so many 28-30mm atty's and tanks already.

--Thanks in advance for any pointers.

OP, was wondering if you had found a fix for this, as I have the exact same issue. I have the exact same model of Seven 22 that you do, purchased from eciggity . I tried moderately jolting the bottom of the mod as you have explained, but the reader didn't revert to reading correctly. I verified the actual charge reading of the battery to be 3.95 (tested on 2 different chargers), but the chip read it at 3.61 and occasionally even below 3.0 which triggered the "Low Batt" message causing it not to fire. I tried adjusting the pin, but it didn't make a difference. Thanks in advance to anyone that can help us out.

Yeah, mine randomly drops from 4+ volts to like 2-2.5v after vaping it a couple of times. The battery meter is also all the way down when this happens. I hit the bottom with my palm or on my knee a couple of times and it shoots back up to 4v. I just ordered some of the new Panasonic CGR batteries...I'll see how that goes. I picked my Seven-22 up from Vaportek, messed around with it for like a week then sent it back. They got a new shipment in so its from a different batch and they sent me a new one. Same exact problem. I felt bad, so I'll just keep this one and try different fixes. I've searched everywhere and it seemed that I was the only person having issues with it so I figured it was user error.

I just tried something out tonight and it may be working. I noticed that the base of the spring was not completely seated below the bottom under that rim. I took a small screw driver and forced it flush all the way around. So far no voltage drop, but I've only been using it off and on the past 20 mins. I'll test it all day tomorrow and let you know the outcome.
