I started with a variety of cig-alikes ending with the V2.

They did get me to stop using analogs but the battery life and fluid capacity left me wanting something batter. I was satisfied with the nico fix and the taste. I tried some apple fluid and love it.

I started to get an eGo-C but decided not to with so many posting they like the taste from a cartomizer more than an atomizer so I didn't get it. I instead got those huge 5ml cartomizers and some eGo-C batteries.

I think I made a mistake. Those huge 5ml cartomizers do not taste the same as the little cartomizers when using the same fluid. It me they big 5ml cartomizers taste bitter in comparison.

I am wishing I would have tried a tank cartomizer instead.

Is the taste the same when using a tank cartomizer the same as when using the same size cartomizer without the tank?

Does everyone end up going in circles before they find the equipment they like?

I think I would be happy with something that tasted like a V2, had all day battery life and all day fluid capacity. I went backwards on flavor by going to the 5ml cartomizer.

I would suggest going to tasteyourjuice.com. He does great, honest reviews on there. You shouldn't have any issue finding what you want. Yes, it does take time to find a great setup.

Valley Vapes and Mom and Pops both carry fairly easy to use starter tank/carto combos. They have a little screw in the side that lets you fill them fairly easily.

I think you'll like it. I'd start with the 3 ml tank at first.

I found using the larger tanks the juice ingredients would separate over time and thus the vape was not consistent from start to finish. Also used the Mom and Pop tank and LOVED the side screw for refilling and equalizing the pressure in the tank when needed.

Edit: even now when using any type of tank I roll/ tilt it occasionally to keep juices "mixed".

Trying new things to find what you like is not a bad thing. Buying 4 mods, 4-10 different clearos and tanks, and ordering juice from 2-3 different vendors a month, however, might the be first signs of a sickness...

I like the 3 ml dual coil carto tank and low resistance clearomizers when I am not direct dripping on an atty. I figure a few bucks here and there to experiment is better than my pack a day habit I used to cough up

The carto tank was one of the first really great way to vap that I found, and I still use them quite a bit. Believe it or not, I actually watched my tanks being made. That was almost two years ago, and I'm still using those same tanks today. I also think that my tanks were free because they have been paid for several times over by the number of cartomizers that I don't need to buy every month.

I guess I am looking for something that lasts longer than the cigalikes but has the same flavor.

The blues didn't last long enough but the flavor was not bad. The V2's were a step up I felt like but the capacity was too low as well as battery life. I still want to keep things on the easy side.

The 5ml cartomizers was a flop for me on eGo-C batteries.

The goal is to not go back to analogs. I don't want a huge collection of gear, just gear that can keep me away from analogs, that I am not filling constantly, change batteries too often. I don't have a huge amount of free time in a day.

If the tank cartomizers are close to experience I had with ordinary cartomizers in flavor I think I will be happy.

I know there are some powerful units out there but in terms of amount of vapor and taste the V2's could have been good enough.

Maybe single coil low resistance cartos in a tank will meet what I am looking for, I sure hope so.

With the eGo style PVs always use single coil cartos- 1.7- 2.0 ohms. Dual coil will always give a weak vape and drain the batts quickly. The eGo is a good PV and should be satiating you. Dual coil cartos are generally for the larger PVs.

Try bottom coil clearomizer like kanger T3. Easy to me on ego.
