Bought a package deal from Silicawick

3.5mm Silica
32g Kanthal
34g NR

I keep getting dry DRY DRY hits using a LR dual coil (the .9 ohm resistance video on youtube). What is the best way to keep this d*mn wick wet and hitting? The first few pulls are great, but then DRY. Is the wick too thick in the channels? Should I keep the 3.5mm in the cup, and thin it out in the channels?

Halp!

Sneaker as of late i been having some minor wicking issues with my setup dual coil .7ohms. The issue is I bought so many wicks and im stocked up that I guess after a certain amount of time it drys out or something. Because it takes to long for it to suck up the juice.

Manos recommended me to tryu the following which has worked very well. Take a boiling hot water and add the two pieces of 3.5 wicks. Let it absorb then remove the wicks and place it in paper towel and microwave it till its some what dry. Then proceed with your normal coil build.

My coil build is using two pieces of 3.5 wick I de strand one of them and use 4 strands per coil leaving the second wick in tact for the middle wick. Works really well.
