get the mvp if you're interested even slightly. it's the best bang for the buck on the market currently. period.

as far as tanks go, get a small variety. do not just stick with the kanger line. staying with one line for compatibility will put you in a corner experiencing similar things over and over again. you'll likely just wind up spending more and more money and time finding what works for you instead of streamlining.

when buying tanks... especially since you're new and don't know what juices you like... avoid clear plastic tanks. go for pyrex to avoid bad reactions with your juices and the tank.

as far as a dripper goes, i'd suggest the igo-s by youde. it's economical and easy to set up with capture holes for your wire. great for juice testing.

Beck gives the nod to the Igo-S, nice.

OP: regarding your lack of draw, gurgling, no flavor, etc. you have some flooding going on for sure. The tip it on its head trick works but I think you are beyond that at this point. You need to stand it on it's head and unscrew the coil head base, then carefully unscrew the head from the base, wipe it all down really well, now you have three options.

Opt 1- you can simply put it back together and see how it goes.

Opt 2- screw the head back into the base and attache just that part (no tank with juice) to your battery. Now you pulse the battery until you "dry burn" the coils which will cook some of the built up stuff off the coils. Once this is completed you can put it all back together and give that a shot.

Opt 3- same as Opt 2 but you need to wash out and dry the coil head before the dry burn and reassembling the atty.

Keep in mind that Kanger tanks don't like to be squashed so you can't crank them super tight to your battery. There are a series of rubber spacers in the heads that, if squashed, will cause leaking.

Hope this helps, sounds more complicated than it is.

I use a carto tank and I rebuild. The performance of either is great. Id highly recommend a carto tank for anyone if they don't own one already, as they are extremely reliable and easy to use. I personally use an ibtanked 22mm standard which is about 25 bucks I think, and boge LR laser drilled cartos. I run them at about 8-9 watts they don't burn and provide pretty intense clouds. My other device of choice is an aqua tank which I build the coils and wick myself, and if youre a handy person a rebuildable atomizer is an excellent choice, I personally use both of my devices about equally.

im pretty handy as far as rebuilding goes id imagine, i am a certified electrician so i know ohm's law, power formulas, etc. have worked with coils (on 1000x larger scales lol)

but still pretty confused about all the gear/tanks/coils to buy. and the fact that i havent found 1 vendor website which sells everything is also pretty confusing.

ive researched a ton, ive looked at IBTanked, they seem to make really high quality tanks.

id like to get into building my wicks and coils for the tanks instead of ordering replacements, i dont want my flavor to be muted in any way, especially with how expensive juices can be!

Good choice although some will dispute. :) My favorite tank set-up for my Provari is either my Aspire Nautilus or my HCigar KFun clone. Both are a bit higher priced then your average clearo tank but worth it. You'll have to learn to build a simple coil with the KFun but with my Fat fingers and poor eyesight, If I can do it, any one can.

is the Hcigar brand the best? i actually looked for one but i did not know which brand to get.

which one do you prefer most?

id much rather rebuild coils/wicks than pay for replacements, im sure it saves a ton of money

There's always this option for coils/wicks
$3.87 Pre-Coiled Welded Wires w/ Wicks - NR-R-NR (50-Pack) 50-pack - 35 AWG / 2.4ohm / 4-wick at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Talk about cheap!!! Not sure one can build their own this cheaply...unless you want different Res than they have available ;)

do many people use these? from the picture the coils look a little sloppy, but that is a cheap price!

can anybody vouch for these?? why dont many people buy them?
