Hawaii legislature enacts bill (HB 672) banning e-cigarette sales to minors, banning e-cigarette use by minors, imposing sales restrictions.

Although the legislation bans retailers located in HI from selling e-cigarettes via the Internet (by requiring face to face sales transactions), the legislation exempts establishments that don't allow minors to enter. So a sign on the door stating "Must be 18 years old to enter" or "No minors allowed" should suffice.

(b) This section shall not apply to:
(2) Retail tobacco stores, bars, or any other establishment for which the minimum age for admission is eighteen.

This - "Although the legislation bans retailers located in HI from selling e-cigarettes via the Internet (by requiring face to face sales transactions)" - doesn't sound good for sellers based in HI.

So, no more Lavatubes? Isn't Volcano local to Hawaii?

Yes they are, with several retail locations as well. Their not being able to sell products online could conceivably put them out of business.

Retail locations have high overhead, with online stores being the "bread and butter" or majority of sales and profits.
