What are some MUST HAVE items or your favorite items for vaping? This goes for batteries, tanks, cartos, clearos, etc.; Anything that you think is a MUST HAVE for any vaper. I'm curious to see what some people's favorites are, and since I'm fairly newish... I'll probably be buying a bunch of yinz guys selections.

Thanks ahead of time,
Strife Immaculate

EDIT: One of my favorite items is my Vision Vivi Nova STV 3.5 ml tank.

Must have a second job :D

I agree that a variable mod is most necessary. I change my opinion on cartos periodically when I find a new one. Currently I'm using Ravens, Splitfires, Nanos and Stardusts. It could be a whole new line up in a month. As far as juice, what one person loves makes the next guy gag, so buy samples. :)
That said, I like GV City Lights and Rampage (I prefer tobaccos to fruits and don't like vaping bakery stuffs at all, just for reference, so you can tell where my preferences lie).

I've been vaping 19 months and I still find tons of new stuff I just have to try. The options are endlessly endless.

Good luck & have fun :)

I would add at least one of the bottom coils to your collection. The Vapeonly, evod, T3, Ravens, or Protank. I haven't tried them all, but the Protank is amazing in my opinion and overall I prefer bottom coils to any of the top coils out there.

Thanks for the suggestion, I been thinking about getting a bottom coil as I have never tried one. Seems like everyone is raving about the Ravens, no pun intended. Maybe I'll check that out. What's the difference besides placement of the coil? Different vapor production? Better taste? I never really understood, figured there wasn't much difference.

As long as I have a variable mod of some type, (silver bullet with a kick, evic...) Vision Grandes, and Crushed Caramel Apple Flux Nectar, I'm good!

I've never tried any of the Flux, but the flavors sound delicious. I've only ever gotten flavors from my local shop.

EDIT: Also, now that I am in the ALPHA program, I definitely wanna try some of Vision's e-liquid.

I used to like tobacco, and I guess I probably still do, but there's so many good flavors like Ripe Strawberry or Blueberry or Absinthe or even some custom ones I've made that I haven't smoked any tobacco flavors in months it seems.

Everyone's experience is a bit different, but generally speaking bottom coils will have a cooler vape since the vapor has to travel further up the tube. They also don't require "tilting" since gravity keeps the juice down by the coil. Personally i get better flavor and more consistent wicking from the bottom coils. It's really worth it to try both and see which you prefer. I'd suggest an evod or some Ravens, which would not cost much to try them out.

I also agree 100% about variable voltage. If you want to stick with something smaller Ego Twists or something similar are great. If you're ready for a big battery mod then there are tons of options, but personally I like the CVI and eVic.

I can't speak for anyone else but for me considering ease of use, durability, dependability and so on it would be two Joytech (no knockoffs) ego C upgrade 650 or 1000 mah passthroughs as they can be charged while using and no special cables required and have some variability in volts, Boge LR 2.0 cartos and a drip tip... to charge them, a usb wart or block as using a computer port is not a good idea and I already have a ton of usb cables used with my external drives, etc so no special investment/equipment there. That's it and fully charged I'm good to go for close to 24 hours putting them in my sun glasses case... if short of that, (I'm a chain vaper) I always have a charger in the car and can still use the passthrough as it charges while I drive. Guess ya can tell, I like to travel light.

Edit: I usually take the 650s though when on the go because they're good for stealthy and classy looking too. That's good for twelve hours and I take the bigger ones if I might get caught out longer.

For one just starting out I would suggest either the twist or the spinner so you can dial in and find your "sweet spot". Try all the carto/tanks you want. No one can tell you what you will like.

I would tell anyone to spend some time on a dial in vaping. learning all there is to your interests here on ECF wile you do.
(you list will differ from mine)

My list: in order of (most used at top)
Anything VW (RMS) 3 kinds of batt sizes 14500, 18350, 18650
Stardust (ce4) (Replaceable heads)
Raven (carto tank)
Monstermesh (yep for mesh)
Splitfire (2 wicks are better than one(IMO)
Rebuildable drip atties (too many to count)
3 juice venders

And it took 2 years to get to this point after trying as many thing I could.
I have settled here for now ;)

IMO mostly 2 things
top coil hoter and a tighter draw
Bottom coil cooler with an airy draw.
Well that sums it up for me at least.

I'm big on anything that is variable wattage as well... the variable voltage is nice but having to always change for each ohm vaporizer you put on it... just makes it more work than needed...

I just wish I knew of a 14500 sized VW APV.... The only thing I've seen that uses that size battery is VV only. I simply love my VAMO which can use either 18350 or 18650 batteries as needed... something similar in the smaller 14xxx size would be awesome

.... I was waiting for the provari comment but it never showed up.

I think what everyone needs is a mechanical mod with a lr carto/atty or a rba for the experienced vapers. a setup like this will last a life time with the exception of having to replace your battery.

I went from egos to VV devices and found myself going in the opposite direction of most and now enjoy mech mod with LR cartos much more. I honestly don't change toppers much so I found I didn't use the VV often. A kick is in my future though for experimentation.

 Got me there... the 14500's are for the Robust VV love it going of the house. Same size as an ego....
The joy in this is that I just carry an extra 14500 or 2. Instead of a full case of ego batts. :D Light weight and pocket friendly..

What batts I use in what
Robust VV 14500
VAMO (vision's) 18350 or 18650
R-Scope (still need a kick) 18350 (though the scope can fix other batts)
CVI V2 18350 or 18650 (threaded outside ego connection for kanger type t2 t3 and such)
Sigelei Zmax V3 18650 (threaded outside ego connection for kanger type t2 t3 and such)

My opinion differs... I like VW just fine, but I change the wattage just as often as I change voltage on a VV. Juices differ. And attys/cartos differ in performance way beyond Ohm's law. I run a 2.5Ω Raven at a much different voltage/wattage than a 2.5Ω ST SC carto.
