Hi all,

Just a few questions

1) My battery reads 4.2v when i hold down the - button when fully charged, at what point do you start to recharge your battery, i.e 4.0v...3.8v...3.6v...etc etc?

2) Do you power down your vamo when not using for atleast 15mins? or do you leave it powered all day? Reason i ask is because i cannot see why a battery would use power if you aint using it, or does the vamo drain the battery in some other way?

3) I purchased this with my Vamo: Vision Vivi Nova STV £10.95 - Vaping Spares - Tanks & Accessories Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid .... and yesterday some of the e-liquid came out of the mouth piece into my mouth when using the Vamo (looked inside the vision nova stv and it only has some rubber separating the juice from the mouth piece).... has this happened to you?

Regards

1 Before going to sleep, because my spare batts aren't here yet.
2 Never. Maybe once a day when it's in jeans pocket, just to prevent firing it.
3. Not really. I see some liquid on the metal inside silicone tip after chain vaping. I think I got some liquid few times when I was holding it way too "high" while lying on couch.

Hello Romelee,
Your Vamo will stop working once the battery gets down to 3.2V some including me prefer to charge batteries when they get down to 3.4V, this isn't a golden rule but a preference, I believe the battery lasts longer over the life of the battery doing this.

You needn't power down your Vamo when you aren't using it, unless it's in your bag or something may accidentally press the fire button, otherwise there is no reason to power down at all.

Vivi Nova: what have you set your wattage or voltage at? Normally for me this suggests not enough power to the atty. Take off drip tip wipe with tissue, replace drip tip try again raising power incrementally.

I am on mode no.2, on 10w power, forgot to add the liquid has also leaked a little from the Viva into the Vamo top (the part that connects vamo too viva)...there is also some bubble noises when vaping (this mainly happens when i refill the viva but fades away after about 15mins).

Me thinks perhaps your liquid may be a little thin and flooding the atty,
also check the head is screwed on tight sometimes when you twist off the cap the head loosens a little liquid seeps in,
also sometimes when filling liquid just manages to get in there somehow.
Just the nature of a Vivi I suppose, but not uncommon. Take Vivi off Vamo blow it out on a tissue gently a few times or until clear, replace and vape away:) what you really don't want is liquid seeping into your Vamo.

i usually swap battery's when they get to about 3.7v excessive discharging of li-ion battery's drastically reduces the life cycle of the cells they typically dont suggest letting them get under 3.4v ever.

personally i never turn my mods off i have two vamos and nether drain the battery when not being used that i have seen,im sure there is a slight drain but not enough to matter.

and as far as the viv novas the only time i have gotten fluid in the mouth piece is if im vaping pretty heavy at a higher voltage and condensation has built up, but i have heard of peoples center pin being slightly off center from pushing juice bottles in there to hard during filling and keeps the rubber from making a seal on the mouth piece, but can be carefully bent back into place.

Don't hold vivi vertically all the time. You need to adjust according to level of liquid left inside. With half tank and vivi vertically all the time you'll get dry hits and will burn wick ;)
Just from my experience :)
I don't own STV vivi, but there is many of variations. I've got some china vivi 2.5, and those are bad... they are like vivi that HHV sells. Those are bad compared to vision vivi's from gotvapes, compared out of the box performance.

Many will say that carto tanks will perform much better than vivi. No idea, I went on ordering genesis devices and will compare them soon enough :)

There is a small amount of drain from the battery when it is in idle. Here's some comparisons from Mountain Prophet's review:

Zmax V2 RMS 0.11 mA
Vamo VV / VW 0.15 mA
YoungJune 2.1T 0.16 mA (5-clicking on it)
Provari 0.96 mA

You can see the Vamo is quite low. I wouldn't worry about leaving it on for a while. I turn mine off if not using it for a few hours, as a personal preference.

I recharge when it starts flashing “Lo”.

I turn it off when I put it in my pocket to carry it..I almost cried when DiNet posted he had no battery to go to bed with...I'm not a morning person so would be way to grumpy if I did not have it on and ready when I wake up..I'm also a chain vapor.

I prefer the vivi nova or a 3ml DCT tank..but yes especially when I'm laying down its not uncommon to get some juice in the mouth...

Found Unique Tanks this morning, I'm keen to give dc cartomisers a go but only if they can offer the same flavour and vapour VN's can. Let us know how you get on with the DCT's.;)

They are great, nice vape and nice Throat hit:)....will never go back to a wick system.... i have always preferred Carts, plus with the tank they are very easy to top up.

Make sure the carts have two holes not one.
