Just got it today....I made a quick 0.8 ohm micro coil on my new IGO-W, no shorts looks fine.
I am using my Sony VTC4 flat top batteries.
No matter what I do, I cannot get this device to fire anything! I have read the fasttech discussion about how to remove the center silver pin inside the button and then to turn the nut up a little bit, however thats not working for me.
I cannot get that silver pin out, its soooo tight and I don't want to strip anything, so I am being gentle.
I have tried in both top and bottom modes, flipping my battery around, adjusting the center pin up and down.
I've watched what little youtube videos I could find about the real one and watched how to replace the spring etc, everything works IF you can remove that center silver pin.
In the pictures, you can see that the silver ping that would be making the connection doesn't seem to get pressed down enough. If I can get that removed without slicing my finger again or without stripping it, I can sand the bottom plastic of the button or adjust the hex nut on the top and probably get the thing to fire.
You can how the silver pin isn't reaching the center of the tube when pressed all the way....

Anyone able to help?
GOOD THING I HAVE A REO GRAND!!!!
