Hcigar Kayfun 3.1refill valve doesn't work

I just got this kayfun in the mail and I can't fill it up via thr refill valve. It cme this way. Anyonw have experience w/ this?

There is an air valve and a refill hole. Are you sure you are not try to refill through the air hole?

You will need a hypo or needle tip bottle.

yeah, I have 2 other hcigar kayfuns. I know it should feel like I am pushing against something that wants to push back but when i put the blunt tip (syringe) in, nothing. No push back. I think it might just be defective.

Anyway to fill it from the top w/out it gurgling?

I had a full kayfun that did the very same thing! That's why I prefer kayfun lite. Easy to fill by removing the screw on the bottom. As for my full kayfun I tried other ways to fill it but it was a leaking mess. I finally just gave up on it. I tried both bottle with needle tip and syringe and just couldn't properly fill it. It's not that I'm ignorant of the kayfun as I have four others that work wonderfully. It was just this one, like yours I couldn't properly fill it. I should have taken it back to the seller but I didnt. It still just sits in my caddy as I can't use it! My advice is return yours to seller and get one that allows you to properly fill it because top filling will only result in leaking. At least it did for mine. Just know sometimes these things happen and it's nothing your doing wrong, if it's the same issue mine had. Best wishes

I too fill mine while on the go away from a needle. Works fine if you use the methods shown on Youtube. Hold your finger over the air hole, just catch the thread, take finger off the air hole and flip over, wait for the air bubbles to rise up then tighten the cap. You also get an easy fill cap from fasttech for $5 that works well. SKU 1815409

I have since tried holding my finger over the air hole and it works great. fill it from the top and good to go.
Sweet thing is the ebay vendor I bought it from sent me another one (it is the hcigar kayfun that comes with the cool case) and told me to keep the defective one. So I have 2 for the price of one.
And I now own 4 hcigar kayfuns 3.1 and despite having to deal with the valve, they are the best kayfun clones (ehpro are damn good too). My opinion, but I have been very happy with them. Personally i think hcigar makes the best clones in general, all the ones I have are of great quality.
