I just got a silver

Only used it for about an hour but I can already tell the temp control algorithm is noticeably better than the yihi in my ipv4s

About to change the battery settings + change my display pic away from the embarrassing one on my group fb when I'm done with this episode

Gonna see how the battery is before deciding if I wanna go in on another because I usually go through about 3 18650s/day in my ipv4s but I also camp out somewhere with a charger for most of that time so it's pretty likely it won't be an issue

Woah, escribe is actually really cool

Now all I've gotta do is get some Teflon tape to tighten the clone I've got onto it's base and I'm a happy camper

The 200 watt preheat is gonna let me get away with some pretty stupid coils, I've got dual 26ga 16 wraps in there right now and it looks like it's not even going over 80w on the preheat

I hope the Teflon tape isn't going somewhere where it will insulate the atomizer. You need good conductivity for temperature control. If you are just fixing a leaking tank is should be no problem.

Just read through the entire thread, didn't realize how much controversy the 510 caused lmao. I just assumed it wouldn't be an issue because in all pics I saw the threaded section looked a good 2x longer than most mods I currently have (F/SA) + the brass was darker-toned which broscience/machining stuff has taught means usually means higher hardness rating

Will be interesting to see what happens if I drop it and it lands attyside down though, which I've kind of realized is something I have to expect from myself because I vape a lot more when I drink + have a tendency to just launch the ....er. Ipv4s looks like it got dropped out the window on a freeway but still works fine despite how cheap + ....ty it feels, so in another month or so I should be able to chime in with some accidental destructive testing results

Plus, I think I took the atty off my ipv4s maybe 2x? Since I got it, so I doubt I'm putting a ton of wear on the poor lil threads from anything outside the drops

I'm gonna try to get back into the case with some calipers and get some numbers on what the dimensions would look like without the battery supports

I ordered one in Black yesterday. After sleeping on it, I'm thinking about changing my order to Blue. Has anyone seen the Blue version in person? Never had a mod in Blue. Almost all my mods are Black. Have a Hotcig in Black on the way as well. Decisions, decisions lol.

Cheers,
Steve

Dropped mine today. Slow motion fall off the desk . Land flat on it side. Was nervous when picking it up off the ground . Everything is fine and it's working fine .

Just got the tcr from sweet spot vapors for the ti wire they make. It's made for vaping . If u guys wanna try ti wire I suggest giving them a shout. It's a Lil pricey for wire but it's awesome. U can use it on tc or no tc devices. They have a tcr made by them to go with the wire. The beta tcr was on evolve but the owner of sweet spot just sent me the link to download so I'm setting up another profile now. Gonna run .4 wire on the crown rba and the .5 on my velocity rda .

Any word on when V2 of this mod will be out. I want a SS 510 and this looks like the only DNA 200 mod I wanna buy
Probably not to long. Depends how fast they are selling. Honestly if u can be careful when putting your atty on , u won't have problems. And it keep mod resistance down real low.

Hi all.i am planning to upgrade my vt40 to the vt200 but ive heard some guy saying that the vt200 chip had problems but he din mention what is the problem.is he making up the rumor or is there anybody who had been using it can give me some advice.
Mines been great. The vt200 has a Evolv dna200 chip inside. Pretty much hcigar built an enclosure and ran the wires . The chip has some great features and works great. It's still early in its life but mines been great for last couple weeks . And I dropped it twice and not a single hiccup

Same here. I have both and must say.. adjustable preheat DO THE JOB. DNA200 is huge step up in vapeing experience (hard to vape on DNA40 at work now). :D

Keep it simple:

- VT40 (DNA40) do the job with single coils
- VT200 (DNA200) do great with duals and up (more vape - more flavor)

..and theres much more with eScribe (software) - real fun to use it!

About 2 weeks in and mines been working great as well. Been a little short in juice as this thing killed my vape budget so I haven't gotten to try all the set ups I want but I will in time lol. Hey, does anyone know, is there anyplace that sells a sleeve or wrap for this thing? I'm afraid of what a bad fall could do.

 I thought I am the only one change my mind from black to blue.

My request to change my order is still in process, if they did not change it, oh well, I got the black then and it's still not all bad.

Anyway, I just manage to search this photo, hopes that it can give you some clue of the blue color scheme:

They should be on the way. I've been keeping my eye out for one. I dropped mine twice. Figures it's the only mod I've ever dropped and it my most expensive one. I have seen the sleeve posted for sale but they don't have release date. Same with spare battery. I'm assuming they will ship soon after the Chinese holiday that ends on the 7th
