Has anyone had to use the warranty yet? I just looked at my warranty card and it has a spot for the distributors stamp or something and it's not stamped.

I haven't had to use my warranty and hope I don't have to but I just looked at my warranty card and it doesn't have that either. I'm pretty sure it's not supposed until you send it back to the place you got it then they sign or stamp the warranty card then they send it to hcigar. Because if they stamped it previously they would have to open your box up before they gave it to you. Hope you understand what I'm trying to say lol. Do you have to send it back for some reason?

Yeah I understand. I was just curious lol. Was just going through the box and looking at the stuff. Funny I thought the 1 year warranty was for the mod and board. Didn't know it was just for the board. Oh well.

As another question, do you guys use other USB cables to charge your VT200? As in other than that thick but extremely short cable that came with it?

I actually like the hcigar cable lol. I'm sure as long as you get a very good quality cable that can charge and send/recieve data you should be good to go.

I've used at least 4-5 different USB cables to charge my DNA200 mods. So far all have worked fine.

Cheers,
Steve

I don't recieve my box yet, but i think that i'll buy a battery on hobbyking probably. If I need to soldered for put a XT30 connector it's not a problem. I think this can be done quicly, but I need to wait the box to mesure exactly the battery case... Because there is not battery with same dimensions ..
true, its hard to find a replacement batt with the exact dimensions as the oem batt. But there are a couple good contenders. Check out the evolv forum. Looks like some will fit with minor to no modification

Please excuse my lipo ignorance but:
1) why are so many people looking for replacement batteries already? It's only been out for a few months right?
2) doesn't hcigar sell a replacement pack already? I know I saw it somewhere
3) does a larger capacity pack exist that will fit in the VT200?
4) did all you guys do a few full discharge/recharge cycles when you first got your VT200?

That's why I wait the vt200, because I had found batt on hobbyking but they are few bigger than original but, like 70 24 32.
But some spoke about dilatation when batt is hot, so battery need more space when it's hot...

Edit : did you see the vtbox200s, it seems to be smaller than the v1, the batt is 1800mah again it probably better than vt200, I hope I won't regret the vt200 because batt capacity is small...
Can you give my your view point pls ?

I don't know why you would regret the VT200. Its battery capacity is one of the highest of the lipo DNA200 mods out right now. That VTbox may have a higher capacity battery but its much larger and bulkier than the VT200. I love the size and form factor of my VT200. And like I said, most DNA200 lipo mods out have a 900 mah battery. At least the VT200 is 1300 mah.

The VTbox has been ran in the battery analyzer mode in escribe and comes out to actually be around 1300mah or right around there, and the hcigars that have been ran in the same battery analyzer come in around 1000 to 1100mah. I'm pretty positive that most of these devices battery's are over rated. I still love my hcigar and I end up using it a lot more the my vs200 but I notice how I don't get that much more battery life over the vaporshark, maybe a hour or 2 more depending how much I'm vaping.

As far as battery life - I've only had for 3 weeks or so - lasts long enough for a kanthal workday. I just put in a dual nickel coil on goblin v.1 - I'll see how battery life goes ... Specs:
10 wraps 28 g nickel- dual coil
37.1 watts w/ temp setting of 470

Plus I got my sleeve from flea bay - nice fit - everything seems to line up nice fits like a glove
