my ti coils are never really contact or spaced fully. i make a contact coil then ever so slightly pull it. maybe the space is the thickness of a hair? i find with the juices i run it doesnt gunk and choke the coil as fast with the tiny spacing. just dont pulse your coil with crazy watts to make it glow past a dark red. low and slow my friend. i also strum the coil with a micro screw driver in between pulses to get the hot spots out. no more than 10 warts. So when you do a twisted Ti build, you don't get hot spots? Do you pulse it before wicking? That's what I would be worried about.
So do you notice any difference in flavor between the two (contact or spaced)? I pulsed the current Ti build I have in my TM atty. I was real careful and patient with it and I still got a couple times where one of the legs lit up orange for just a hot second. Most of the coils are blue, purple, or dark brown. That spot on one of the legs where it lit up is an off-white, grayish color. I wonder if it got to the dangerous Ti oxide stage on just that one piece but I didn't see any powder form and I wiped it just in case before vaping...
The DNA 200 board/chip is the smartest and most advanced chip out there... It is kind of weird to me that when you switched from cigs to vaping you went straight to the most advanced and inherently complicated and complex device out right now but hey, if that's what it took to quit, more power to you! Anyway, it sounds to me that you might have your settings in your profiles mixed up. On my VT200, I've got two profiles set up for my Uwell Crown. I have a temp control one with the TCR set at 0.00105 and I have another profile set for straight wattage with the temp control OFF option selected. You have connected to a windows computer and configured your device with the Escribe software, right? If you want to just use wattage mode, you need to set the temp control to OFF in those profiles. I'm almost certain you just don't have temp control set to OFF in your profiles. SS can be used in wattage or temp control mode, but it is probably the least stable of materials for temp control use at this time. That is probably why the DNA 200 is randomly thinking you are using a temp control material in your tank.Hello vapors! I'm fairly new to vaping for about a month now. Purchased this mod along with the Uwell Crown Tank and never looked at a Newport again. I was so determined on quiting I gave out a half a pack of analogs the day I made my vape purchase and no regrets. Anyways I've been vaping and learning this on my own and I think I'm doing fairly well but I have something that's been bothering me maybe you guys have the answer for. For some reason my mod doesn't know when to turn temp control on/off. For example, whenever I switch from profile 1 which is set to 40 watts to profile 2 at 60 temp control kicks in. It's almost as if whenever a certain wattage maybe above 50 is used temp control kicks in and I see this is the case as the preheat setting kicks in, ohms no longer rise locked at .26 and I see the temp slowly rising on screen indicating temp control as opposed to my profile 1 where temp blanks out with ---- as I use it. There have even been other times where profile 1 switch to temp control too. I'm not even using my ni200 coil but the dual .25 one. I would just like to have different profiles at different wattage since in the morning my regular 80 is a bit too much. I thought this DNA 200 chip was smart and talk of the town?
The silicone sleeve from sweetvapes fits as well as the authentic sleeve from yihi on the mclass. Looks nice.
Hey guys without reading the whole post. Does anyone know of a good wall charger for my new vt. Im without any computers, and as of now only have a smart phone and android tablet?
I guess I should add to it. A standalone charger that has all the bells and whistles. The silicone sleeve from sweetvapes fits as well as the authentic sleeve from yihi on the mclass. Looks nice.

There are many chargers out there that support much higher charge rates. But these batteries we use might not take too much beyond 1C.All you need is a 2 Amp USB wall charger. You can get on from Walmart for about $10 bucks. That is what I use and there is no charger on the face of the planet that will charge you device any faster so why spend a bunch of money.

Okay. Didnt know if a charger also checked the cells that was preffered. Thats all. ThanksAll you need is a 2 Amp USB wall charger. You can get on from Walmart for about $10 bucks. you still need a charger to feed the dna200's built in balance charger. i was posting what i use to charge my 200's. maybe im missing the point of yer post. The DNA200 has it's own built in balanced charging circuit that's probably better than anything you could get.
I think the key word you missed was "standalone".What will you do with the extra amperage? The charger on the DNA 200 only uses 1 amp Max. So a charger with more amperage is of no value.

What are you asking here? All you need to charge your VT200 is any all adapter that's at least 1 amp and a USB cable. Are you asking for a lipo pack charger so you can take out your VT200 battery pack and charge it solely??I think the key word you missed was "standalone".
I'm not asking anything. Re-read the thread where this all started. What are you asking here? All you need to charge your VT200 is any all adapter that's at least 1 amp and a USB cable. Are you asking for a lipo pack charger so you can take out your VT200 battery pack and charge it solely??

Just go back through all your profiles and make sure the temp control OFF bubble is selected, and that the preheat options are all set on each profile to your liking. I don't suggest a preheat higher than 100 watts with the crown BTW IMO.
