Not much to add to the posts today. I did receive a 2nd cap only. I does not solve the problems. If it does not go down perfectly straight, it can bind, or worse get stuck. I'm not sure I can blame the metal material, but I can sure point to the threads being TOO FINE! Even with the new cap, and taking my time, I had to resort to the pliers once again to get it off. It takes me multiple times, and a lot of aggravation just to swap a battery, and I like to rotate my battery's. After reading all these new reports, I may not bother returning it, and just dedicate one new battery to it, and charge on board.

To make me feel better, I ordered my 4th SDNA75, another in black, my favorite. The silver finish one, without the rubber coating, has a bit of play in its battery door, but I may be able to bend it tighter. The rubber coated ones are perfect.

I'm using my Vt75 Nano for 2 days only. I think the mod is good but the cap could be better. The threads are thin and require some patience to get them properly aligned. Cleaning threads with alcohol helped. To make it easier to change the battery I remove the tank, put the mod upside down on the flat surface and don't push cap in when turning - let the cap follow the threads. I turn the mod, not the cap. At least so far I was able to change battery without issues. Everything else about this mod is great. It's stealthy small, feels solid, buttons are easy to locate and feel good, no rattles of any sort and dna 75 works perfect.

The Manufacture Settings were not set by HCigar. I measured my device and used the following settings:
Mod Resistance 0.02
Case Cooling 423.22
Case Heating 237.38
Case USB Change 1.04F and 27.48 F/A
I used discharge profile for Samsung 25r from dna200.de/kurven_akku/

With Escribe SP3, the Vaporshark DNA200 and SNY SDNA75, the copper plug read resistance fine, same as before updates.

However, I just received my "replacement" HCigar VT75 Nano. In the Escribe Atty check, all I get is the "?", NO ohm resistance reading at all. I manually set it at "0.002", same as the SNY, as a GUESS.

I've always charged in the mod myself and have had no issues.

Kind of makes the removable 18650 moot I want to swap & go. Not wait till it charges
They should have designed a better battery cover, maybe more like the Evic Vtc mini?
I really can't stand that type of battery cap my SX mini has a similar cap & it sucks

Yeah, I ran the long test. Resistance value may not be perfect, I used screw driver to shorten the contacts and used the lowest number I got. People reported around 0.005 Ohm measured with copper plug.

Thanks, I have the plug, and unlike my other DNA's, I could not get any reading, just the "?" Question mark. Odd.

No matter how careful I was, mine would get cross threaded 3 out of 4 attempts. I sent it back, thanks to the GREAT CS I get every time from MVS (my vapor store), got a replacement that seems to have a bit more tolerance but I still am real careful, put some Noalox on those tiny threads as well.

Just did it again, had to go really tight on the copper plug, really didn't feel good putting that much pressure on it, but I got a reading: "0.004".

This number sounds right. Most likely you had a bad contact before.

I am betting you damaged the internal threads the first time it got stuck and no matter how carefull you were after that it was just too late. Same thing happened to me on one of my brass tube mods.

That's a good bet. Being able to do any damage to a battery door just by using it, is POOR, design and manufacturing. I like everything else about the mod. For $85.00, doubt I'll get another one, the SDNA75 can be had for almost half the price, same DNA75 board. Only problem, I already have 4, wish there were some other small DNA75 mods to look at.

It might be worth writing them. Them seem to be trying to do good (although I could be totally wrong on that). I'm completely enamored with this mod, but agree completely with your assessment. That simply shouldn't happen.

Feeling just a tad nervous about mine now, but I had intentions to USB it, at least for awhile.
