Not much to add to the posts today. I did receive a 2nd cap only. I does not solve the problems. If it does not go down perfectly straight, it can bind, or worse get stuck. I'm not sure I can blame the metal material, but I can sure point to the threads being TOO FINE! Even with the new cap, and taking my time, I had to resort to the pliers once again to get it off. It takes me multiple times, and a lot of aggravation just to swap a battery, and I like to rotate my battery's. After reading all these new reports, I may not bother returning it, and just dedicate one new battery to it, and charge on board.
To make me feel better, I ordered my 4th SDNA75, another in black, my favorite. The silver finish one, without the rubber coating, has a bit of play in its battery door, but I may be able to bend it tighter. The rubber coated ones are perfect.
