Hello everyone, I need some help here, I've been vaping since October 29th, that's a couple of month ago, I started with blu, got halo g6 with mini tank system in a week and a 12 mg tobacco sample pack of which I liked the tribecca, prime torque and the apple, I then got an ego kit with ce4 tanks, I finally bought a mechanical mod with a vv nova tank.
I haven't had any problems with vaping and went completely off analogs until I bought a second order fron halo, a 24 mg tribecca, prime and torque, with the intention to cut it down to 6-8 mg using vg. With the first vape I started getting dizzy, sleepy, and suffered headaches. I thought maybe I should go for lower nic, but still had the same thing even with as low as 5 drops 24 mg in 50 drops base, that's almost 2.4 mg. Even johnson creek juices which are 100% vg gave me the same issues , I'm suspecting it is the alcohol in the flavoring, has anyobe heared about a similar case?, I'm also suspecting that the juice bottles require shaking before use, which I don't? My doctor told me to stop vaping so she can isolate the cause, I haven't.
What is your take on that?

Had same issue. I started with greensmokes and volcano magmas and use 16mg ejuice. I also tried 24mg cartridges from greensmokes, smoked both and didn't have any issues. Got my mvp and itaste vv 3.0 with iclear 30 and loaded it up with 16mg liquid. Started getting same symptoms as you. Posted it here and basically advanced devices deliver nicotine much more efficient than cigalikes. So in my case i got 6mg ejuice and it seems to not give me any noticeable effects

I wake up with 24 mg, switch to 18 in various flavors from Halo during the day, then switch to 12 mg for desert vapes. Haven't had any of your symptoms, knock on wood.

As suggested maybe try different vendors with primarily VG and lower nic. Halo doesn't publish their PG/VG ratios, I think it varies by flavor as some are thicker than others. Some folks have problems with PG and higher nic will keep you up at night.

Yes kalex, but I cut my juice down to almost 2.4, or that's what I thought, because I wasnt shaking my bottles, and tgat means I might gave been pouring much more concentrated liquid than the declared 24 mg, which messes up all the math..

If you have calculated properly and dropped your nic that low I doubt that's the source of the problem. Still, you are reacting to something in the liquids and need to sort it out.

I would suggest you get two unflavored liquids in your usual nic level - one in 100 VG and one in 100 PG. No flavorings at all. Try them each and see if the problem is an adverse or allergic reason to either PG or VG. That could be the source. More people react negatively to PG, but VG problems - including headache - are not unheard of either.

If there's no issue with either unflavored then you have a flavoring component you may be having an allergic reaction to. That can take a lot of work to sort out and it would be a good time to start talking to your MD about allergies and testing.

Johnson Creek is all vg and you said you didn't start having these problems until you started vaping almost all vg. So get some ejuice with a lower pct of vg. What was the first order from Halo? And try ordering some vg from a ejuice vendor. Its cheap. Drink loads of water or your favorite beverage. Are you staying hydrated enough? VG will dry you out and give these symptoms.

I knew straight up from day one that I cannot handle more than 12, and later 8 mgs

You said you started at 12mg then went to 24mg?? And then mixing them both together? No wonder you are having problems. You are double dosing yourself.

In my happy place
The problem with Halo is you do not know the PG/VG ratio.

I think I have a problem with PG, all of he juices I have bought are 50/50 and I have no problem. With Halo my skin itches and I get headaches. I think it is PG since Halo juices are really thin compared to the 50/50 ones I have. But I just started a month ago so I may be full of it.

i think he said he got 24mg to dilute it. he diluted it with vg down to 2.4mg

Then he is basically vaping all vg with very little flavor(pg) and nic at all. And if he had no problems before doing this and this was the only change then vg is looking like the culprit. I would take the 12mg(if he still has any) and put a couple of drops of distilled water in the bottle and shake it. That will dilute some without messing with the flavor. don't put more than that tho cause then you run the risk of flooding the atty/clearo, etc.
And drink, drink, drink. These are also symptoms of Dehydration. You could be getting a double whammy.

No you isn't. Random outbursts of itching, typically on the extremities, is a symptom of allergic reaction to PG.

As others have said, since you are essentially vaping VG with only a hint of flavor and nicotine, the culprit is most likely the VG. As others have also said, the symptoms you are exhibiting are typical of dehydration, so drink plenty of water.

I am still not sure of the logic behind diluting your flavor and nic like that, but to each their own. Why not just get 6 mg strength juices in the first place? That way, you wouldn't be sacrificing so much flavor. Seems to me to be a waste of some really choice flavors. Again, I am not criticizing you. I am just lamenting the extreme loss of Tribeca flavor.

I cannot disagree, I'm still in ny trial stages I guess, I vape alot, I almost don't let it down whenever I'm not in the office or asleep, so that's maybe 4 - 5 mls a day, if I do juice out of the bottle, then economically I'm very close to analogs cost, with the added disadv. Of having to buy stock upfront., I'm researching on flavors and have used some PA ry4 in a mix and it tasted good,..you get my point?
