Headache?

I just got some Capella Vanilla Custard and Caramel to try and up the flavor in some 36mg RY4. Besides the nasty taste i'm getting from both I get an instant headache from vaping them. Is this normal?

Also, I know everyones taste buds are different but do these flavors actually taste good to anyone?

I'm pretty bummed by this because I love RY4 but wish it tasted stronger.

No, its not normal. Probably allergic to something in the flavoring. Quit using it.

Capella Vanilla Custard getting quite a few raves by many here! I'm been going through a batch of Capella Blueberry/Vanilla Custard, vaping it for 4 days straight, 24mg NIC, about 70/30 PG to VG, and 12% flavoring. The Vanilla Custard is really a nice, smooth tasting flavor for me!

doots is likely right. Some flavors simply disagree with some people, and there is no pattern I can tell. Some do that to me too. Headaches, when nic is not too high (causes headaches too) and coughing are a sign that a flavor is not liked by the body. Capellas chocolate toffee is one that does that to me. Also Lorann butter, although it is not the deadly diacetyl. It is best not to vape flavors that irritate you, and you may well be the only one here that cannot do a particular flavor. That doesn't at all mean you are imagining it.

But you didn't say what the nic level was, and if it was higher than usual...although I assumed that wasn't the case.

I get nausea, then a pounding headache from the Vanilla Custard. It's not the ingredients, my senses are simply overpowered by the flavor. It's cloyingly sweet on my palate, which leads to nausea and a tension headache. My son loves it, though! Perhaps that's one explanation for your headache?
