Hi there,

Yesterday I started vaping 100% VG juice for the first time. I had been using a 70/30 since day one.

I bought some Smoktech 2.0ohm LR atomizers as well, and have been using them on my 1000mah eGo Twist. I am a bit confused on voltages, ohms and amps. Just when I get a grasp on it I go further down the hole! Anyhow I am dripping on this at about 4.2 volts or so. I also notice the atomizer gets very hot with this setup.

What I am wondering is that my current setup is adequate or "proper" Am I using the right atomizer? The right ohms for my Twist, etc? I am confusing myself definitely. I am basically wondering if my experience could be even better or if what I am using is good?

Thanks in advance!

I was using Stardust Ce4 clearomizers before but they were so hit and miss I chucked them out. Now I have been solely dripping and I love it. I like to really switch between flavors constantly so it works well, however, I would much rather have a bunch of tanks with preloaded flavors I know I like.

Any thoughts on this ?

Vivi Nova 2.5 super secret back door edition + replacement parts Long Wick SR now available.

What company made your "stardust ce4 clearomizers" ? I also had bad ce4 clearomizers.

I actually have no idea, I have been ordering from a guy who lives in the city and does home deliveries. They just came in a small black box that said "Ce4 Clearomizer" at 1.6ohm. Out of 3 I had only one of them works, and even then I still don't care for them, hardly any flavor.

I'd suggest getting a 2.2 - 2.4 ohm clearo of your choice. Unless you have some electrical doo-dad that tests the ohms, it may simply be the supplier got the clearos mixed up and that you are indeed using a too low resistance of 1.6 ohm per the box you received them in. Might be worth a try for $6 or thereabouts. Btw 100% VG does mute flavor but not THAT much!

The muted flavor is mostly caused by switching from dripping back to tanks, it's like night and day. And thanks for pointing out that those vivi nova's weren't made by vision. I have found another Canadian supplier, these look like the originals.

I don't know what happened to the Ce4's, like I said I have one that works fine but the rest were garbage, I tried everything with them. Dripping just gives me the satisfying flavor and vapor every time without the worry of dry hits. But it's not practical for taking out, hence why I'd like to jump on some of these Vivi Nova's I've heard such great things about.

Your the first person to thank me for that knowledge, you made my day -thank you. I'm only 60 days into vaping and already keenly aware that chinese companies with start dates of 2012 are copying original products. Joyetech and Visionecigar are giving warnings on their websites.
